This is hilarious but to make it clear it was probably Sakurai not wanting them in the game, Disney has collabed a stupid amount to give characters to Fortnite, Fall Guys, Cookie Run, and Sea of Thieves from Jack Sparrow to Mickey Mouse even, they collabed with KH outside of the games plenty of times now and recognising KH way more in the parks and shows, they'd have glady given Donald and Goofy at least as PNGs for spirits and the stained glasses, Sakurai didn't want any non primary video game characters however, the only true rule to date that's never been broken or disproven unlike the many the community have made up (can't be too big, can't be third party or two from the same third party, can't already be a spirit etc).
