“But now that you know how that encounter works, let’s take a look at it one more time” me, moments before high fiving a nest, after info dumping about wasps for 45 minutes
17:15 The green variation of the nailgun usually takes time to charge while firing, but the blue variation has enough fire rate by default to instantly create full charge for the green variation to alt fire at maximum charge. This interaction also applies for the Sawblade launcher. Thats as best as I can explain it, at least.
It’s actually an attempt to nerf the green nailgun/saw, since the fire rate decreases with heat (alt fire charge), the instantly maxed heat means that you can’t simply swap between the two to have the blue variant regain ammo and the green one cool off, at least not without compromising the attack speed. But since the primary fire of the green variant is stinky doo doo anyways, this just leads to easy max power alt fire.
some FUP misinformation, the rocket is not frozen to get the freezecharge, which asunder did not freeze the rocket long enough to get in blood hallway anyways, its frozen because for some reason pulling a frozen rocket creates a larger explosion. so you get the red explosion + bigger explosion
Worm mentioned!!!!! Also definitely taking these speedrun strats for my casual P-2 P ranking as they gove answers to a lot of problems I've been having in the level.
To put into perspective on how hard Sisyphus is when you first fight him, he literally took me 2 days and I only beat him because I gave up and used cheats. After that I went into sandbox and practiced him until I got really good at parrying all of his attacks except DESTROY. Nice to see Hakita lets us practice bosses whenever we please. Sisyphus is the best boss, period. I play ULTRAKILL sometimes just to fight him. The fact he dies like this is really funny.
Sisyphus definitely did not expect for a random vampiric camera to kill him with a charged shot, magical spare change, bunch of orbiting saws, and a couple shotgun shells
32:06 Now that the 10th anniversary of FNaF has happened I can officially tell you that I have 10 years of experience with these jumpscares so I didn’t get scared, reverse gottem
the insane amount of explanation this video topic needs is why, in my opinion, p% for this level is one of the craziest speedrun categories of all time
@@TechyyGD np! also, i've mainly heard it around pixel gun 3d it might be mentioned by the community of other games but pg3d's where i've heard it the most
@@Poly_Hes_Gone thank you for explaining, i forget to type it out even tho i wrote the explanation😭😭 Tho as a correction:almost no other fps uses this term, only a game with terrable loadout like Pixel gun 3d will make using 3 guns instead of 1 a viable strat, as a there is 1000+ wepons so you'd expect a large divide in power Tho maybe ultrakill is one of the exceptions as wepons do synergize with each other, encouraging fast swapping (and slap pistols arguably have fixed delay so ig it's similar enough to pg3d)
I’m so glad that more people are making speedrun breakdown videos for this game (also btw the srs does damage based on speed, not charge, all the charge does is make it faster)
Small correction: it's not the core nuke that detonates the freezecharged rockets, it's the Cerberi dashing into them, which adds a whole new layer of getting the Cerberi to do that.
I started playing Ultrakill like a week ago, and I love it. This video is a cool explanation on P-2. I mean, I haven’t even beaten p-1, but this shows that there’s weapons I really overlooked initially. Great video!
Damn. I really thought i was the first person to discover a way to get the mindflayer into the sisyphus fight. Of course a speedrunner would figure it out though 😢
Hearing "Devils Never Cry" start playing while watching an ULTRAKILL caught me really off-guard, but it's super fitting so I'm really glad I heard it here lol
RAITRO I DID IT! I BEAT ULTRA NIGHTMARE! Thank you so much for telling me “Well think of it this way, in UN you only need to beat the level 1 times in a row” that really helped me push forward and kept me from over doing it with my practice!
19:03 yes is does? I can remember quite clearly there being a line under the shotgun in the terminal that mentioned how you can parry an enemy if you're point blank. It could just be the mandela effect though, I won't check because L A Z Y
12:40 are you sure? I think the slam speed and jump height is dependant on how long have you been slamming, because of jumping right after slamming, your downwards momentum from the slam gets nullified, so you fall slower, and the game starts counting how long have you been falling, thinking you have slammed from really high up, it launches you into space
*note* if timed right and the situation is PERFECT, you can hit an enemy with both the coin piercer and the railcoin with the same coins, giving massive damage from both sources. it is incredibly hard to pull off, but the "this will hurt" gives literal frames where it's possible to pull off, just requiring insane reaction time and precision.
12:40 that's a misconception, what's really happening is that your velocity is getting set to a high value after you slammed, this gives you enough time to get to pretty much max slam time.
