I actually liked Sam Witwicky from the Bayformers movies more than I liked Rey: Sam had a reason to why he was weaker compared to the other main characters despite being the Protagonist: he was a simple human that managed to befriend the Autobots and become a target due to his connection with the Allspark that the Decepticons were after. He needed protecting but he could also hold his own against larger threats through fighting clever; which showcased why Optimus Prime favored humans like him.

the sith will be back. there are still plenty of hidden sith temples and relics. some of those relics are probably sith holocrons. all it would take is a untrained force user to stumble across one, then another and so on. then it may take a while but each dark side user would eventually find each other. be it the ones who found the holocrons or there apprentices if they took one. and hopefully they would find each other and create an order of there own. though it probably wouldn't be the same as the original sith empire.
