If we’re talking physical strong, I just want to point out that Twilight Princess Link wrestled Gorons and tossed them like pebbles WITHOUT A POWER BRACELET.

I feel like the hero of winds is being severely underrated here. He's one of the few iterations of link that had access to light arrows that flat out banished practically anything from existence, fought the same Ganondorf that OOT Link fought and stabbed his sword through his entire forehead, and did all of this as an inexperienced child. He also gains more experience because he appears in more games than most other incarnations of Link.

The weakest isn't Hero of the Winds, it's The Hero of Spirit

The Hero of Winds is one of, if not the strongest link. He can become invincible, change time, summon cyclones, spin attack for way longer than any other link, lift giant boulders 50x his size. He's the only Link to take on Ganondorf as a child and he stabbed him through the forehead. Mans didn't play Wind Waker and it shows.

Hero of Wind might be weak, but he got that dawg in him. Willing to give it all up for his sister and that shows true courage. Lets not forget hes not even a true link just some random kid on a back-water island.

Weirdly I find that hero of the winds is the most bad ass he literally sailed across the seas to save his sisters and made the gods choose him as the new hero instead of being bored as one all at a young age

Honorable mention: Twilight link who doesn't use any magic items to help with his strength just sumo wrestled a Goron and was able to push Ganon back by sheer strength alone

I feel like “keeping the Master Sword after the events of the game” doesn’t really speak for his own strength, if anything it sounds like he feels the need to rely on it by keeping it with him. How about the fact he’s the only Link capable of climbing rough terrain or the fact that he is physically able to jump without having to run off an edge. If we’re talking genuine strength without considering items I’d say Twilight Link is a high contender. He’s been constantly shown to have greater strength than others since the beginning of the game being able to grapple goats that are charging into him, bringing them to a full stop and completely chucking them aside. And near the end of the game he’s able to match the strength of or even out strength Ganondorf (a man much bigger than Link and even has the Triforce of Power) whenever they have a sword struggle. If you want to push it you can even see how Link developed from toppling goats to being able to topple Beast Ganon who is again much larger. Even if Midna has to be there to get a grip on him. Oh yea there’s also Hyrule Warriors Link. That’s it lmao.

Weakest link is spirit tracks hands down. And you could probably mention Link to the Past Link as the strongest as he was able to straight up kill ganon who was wielding the entire night of the triforce. Ganon is really freaking hard to kill, which is why most versions of him are sealed… which puts the Links from Twilight Princess, aLtrP, and Wind Waker in the upper half at least. Skyward Sword Link also gets a mention because although Demise wasn’t completely destroyed, Link still pushed the literal embodiment of Chaos to his Limit.

The most powerful version of actual link is the one who started it all hero of the sky I mean he fought horde’s of bokoblins fought the god of evil himself and held all 3 pieces of the triforce at once of and not to mention he made a wish on the triforce and it didn’t split he is the only person in the whole series to do that

Well for BOTW Link it is specifically **not** canon that he can just go kill calamity Ganon on the spot because in the actually canon he goes to each divine beast and rescues them and then fights Ganon.

The Hero of Legend (ALttP, LA, OoA, OoS) went on four different adventures and has an insane arsenal of weapons, items, and magic. He has the double upgraded Master Sword (Master Sword Lv3), the red mail which subtracts 75% of the damage he takes, and can even use a ring to deal double damage (red ring) or take 50% less damage (blue ring). He has access to the Titan’s Mitt and Power Gloves for strength and the Pegasus Boots and Pegasus Seeds for speed. Furthermore, he has magic and can create lightning storms, fiery explosions and earthquakes using medallions, and can use the cane of burner to create a magical barrier around him making him invulnerable to any attacks. On top of all of this, he is one of the only Links that have beaten Gannon when Gannon was wielding the full Triforce. I definitely think the Hero of Legend is the strongest Link.

If we're talking brute strength, it's Twilight Link and Wild Link. Magic and omnipotent wise, ALTTP Link and Hero of Time Link are pretty nuts

BOTW Link was able to best adults in combat as a child, bested multiple Lynels (in a BOTW memory, we can see defeated enemies, including a few Lynels of varying colour, as well as defeating one as a child I think) and defeated an ancient monk, who was not holding back. He also deflected back a guardian beam with just a potshield (quite a split-second decision). BOTW Link is also the son of a family of royal guards.

I hope the Fierce Deity mask makes a return or the powers or Link becoming the Fierce Deity god, like that design and sword is just the definition of badass knight/adventurer also imo, the name of the mask sounds a bit weird to me, like it doesn't sound badass or scary, but in German its called "Die Maske der grimmigen Gottheit", translated in English its called "The mask of the grimm god", I mean it sounds better than Fierce Deity but who am I to judge but it sounds SO badass and scary in German if you speak it out loud etc.

I still love the fact that link can just wake up from a century long slumber and absolutely beat the shit out of calamity ganon.

2nd to Fierce Diety is Link to the Past link. The magic he has in that game has never been repeated for a reason. It kills everything on the screen!

The weakest out of all the Links is definitely spirit tracks link/the hero of spirits but even then he's still really strong since he did defeat Malladus who was capable of destroying the world and created a parallel dimension which consists of a lot of mountains as well as what looks like a black hole in the sky and Malladus did this when he still wasnt in control of his new vessel which was Zelda body Also an iteration of Link that got overlook was the hero of the Sky Skyward Sword Link, and his feat consists of him boxing and beating Demise who is an eternal being who conqured time itself and not only that he created a hyperspace and it also has a sun which is neat and it also makes the conquering time statement true considering that a hyperspace consists of three dimensions length width and depth and it allows things to travel at speed faster than light which also supports the statement Demise has which should put him at infinite or Immeasurable levels of speed and Link was keeping up an packed him up and also Link acquired the full triforce which grants the user whatever wish they want but I won't count it for in this scenario Also botw link also got significantly stronger in totk same with the master sword which may put him as the strongest link currently but who knows

Skyward Sword link is also really powerful on his own. He strengthens the master sword, has the triforce, a pretty decent arsenal, literal divine favor and defeated the Demon King predecessor to Ganon and all his servants and imprisoning him into the sword.

Kid Link. The boy has fought against monsters and horrors since he was like 10. And Majora with the masks. WITH said Fierce Deity Link mask. And has a mask for any situation. And has a POWERFUL ocarina that has insane magical properties. Granted, he doesnt have the master sword, but Fierce Deity makes up for that.

What? The hero of the winds isn't the weakest. He never used a sword before his adventure but we can still see him jump several feet into the air and then plunge the Master Sword into Ganondorf's skull. He also has the braclets which make him able to lift up giant rocks that propably weight multiple tons which makes him much stronger. And not to mention that his light arrows kill any none boss enemy in a single hit.

Question: if botw link can react to (parry) guardian beams which are (most likely) light does that mean he is relative to light speed in reaction time

Tbh, you are intended to do a lot of things first before fighting calamity ganon, plus if we were going off that logic current link would also be the weakest because he has really bad stamina to the point of needing to eat more just to stay at his peak.

If zelda timeline is a loop and link is continually being reincarnated, remember that in totk, you can unlock the ancient hero set, and it's said "this item is said to contain the spirit of a hero who once saved Hyrule" so it would be like the First version of link, the pre-hylian specie with the greatest strenght and personnality, as his power should've been made and given for him first.

You kidding me with Hero of The Winds? Kid FORCED the gods to acknowledge him as a reincarnation if the hero after they pretty much gave up on the world, and he fucking stabbed Ganondorf through the goddamn skull, killing him for good in that timeline. He possessed the full power of the Triforce of Courage, the fully powered Master Sword, and Light Arrows. WindWaker Link could lift boulders that weighed a ton, had the magic armor, and literally went out and got his piece of the tri force to wield on his own, then without the tri force of courage, killed Ganondorf in 1v1 combat. He did all this as a kid. No time travel, no adult training and rewind, no Sheikah tech, no Zonai arm, no nothing. Hell, the Master Sword wasn’t even awake for the majority of the time he carried it. You owe the Hero of Winds an apology.

Strongest untransformed Link is Hero of Legend (Zelda 3 and the Game Boy games) from the sheer arsenal he has. Not only does he have the most experience out of any Link with 4 games under his belt, (Even if one's a dream) but he has access to all 3 medallions, (Literal screen nukes) the Silver Arrows, the Red Mail and finally the Golden Master Sword, as well as the entire Triforce. Even Fierce Deity cant beat that.

I would argue that hero of the legend (Loz lttp) is up there if not stronger. He has four different game under his belt, so that means he has quite a lot of experience. He is also the only one pure enough to enter dark world unharmed and first one to come back. Also one of his items give him invincibility if he has cash if I remember correctly

We started by saying that WW Link is a "decent" swordsman. Bro was just a kid, front-flip counter attacking trained monsters and warriors and jumped what was easily almost 20ft in the air to stab a grown man trained in dark magic and dual swords in the middle of his forehead, while also being a self-taught sailor capable of just casually running around with solid stone statues the same height as himself above his head indefinitely.

A few things: Hero of Winds wasn’t a chosen hero. No destiny, no Triforce. Everything he did, he did as a normal person trying to save his sister. That fact alone makes him extremely strong, not to mention what he did in Wind Waker. Defeating massive enemies as a mere child. Defeating Ganondorf. He’s not the weakest. Yeah…Hero of the Wild is absolutely strong. Our current Link is the only version who can climb a mountain and wipe it off like it was nothing. His flurry rush ability and archery abilities make him a unique force to be reckoned with. Dark Link…the second strongest - No. We can count him as a version, that’s fine. But Dark Link was defeated by multiple iterations of Link. Hero of Time, Hero of Hyrule to name a couple. He’s strong but at the end of the day he’s just plain not stronger than the hero. Fierce Deity Link - yeah that’s probably accurate lol. His power is insane, making Majora’s Wrath looking like a play-thing. He has no use for a shield. His beam ability is scary. We unfortunately don’t get to see FD fight outside of Termina, but we can assume he would make the biggest and baddest enemies in the Zelda series look like nothing.
