"The Gurren Lagann you believe in is real" That line ends any and all debate. I simply have to believe GL solos and it does. Because that's how a drill works.
@@CerealExperimentsMizukiThis is legitimately how Gurren Lagann works, as long as its pilot has food in their stomach and a will to fight, it can and will eventually win. GL is the powered by raw willpower, capable of bringing people back from the dead for several minutes, GL survives a Big Bang, can create entire new verses to make bigger forms(TTGl and STTGL), and can manifest the physical soul to win. It’s damn near impossible for you to lose when you can see the invisible, break the unbreakable, and do the impossible. Gurren Lagann says “logic what’s that”.
Simon to me it seems like one of those characters do if you put in any other story and took away his spiral power he would still be able to become one of the strongest characters in that series just from the amount of willpower he has combined with his intelligence.
Imagine Simon in evangelion punching Shinji in kamina's fashion only for them to combine lagann and Eva 01 and perform a giga drill breaker. Would be peak
@@CaptainLongboneLagann can combine with any (and I mean ANY) mecha, not just the ones in its universe. Just because evangelion is partly organic doesn’t mean Lagann can’t combine with it.
@@VoidSpirals Pretty sure evas are just monsters wearing armor. But I'm not really an eva fan, so who knows. Not that spiral power is limited to mecha anyway. Cue movie ending where blood turns to a drill.
@@CaptainLongbone as i undrstand, he can not just combine with evas, he can combine with all of them across the multiverses at the same time and comeback with mega eva gurren lagann lul.
That's the thing, Simon is such a powerful Spiral Warrior, he generates his own Spiral Power, so no matter what verse you put him in, no matter who he faces off against, he will win. Spiral Power is the embodiment of "fighting spirit" and "if you want it, you have it", so by that fact, if Simon wanted to win, he would. Yes, even against Goku.
@@HopeofDC yeah, with the life equation, something that he himself doesn't utilize. That's the whole point of him spliting the white lantern ring with multiple people.
Mark my words this drill will open a hole in the universe! And that drill will be a path for those behind us! The dreams of those who have fallen! The hopes of those who will follow! Those two sets of dreams weave together into a double helix! Drilling a path towards tomorrow! And that's Tengen Toppa! That's Gurren Lagann! MY DRILL IS THE DRILL THAT CREATES THE HEAVENS!
With the absolutely ridiculous amount of willpower Simon has it seems like if you put him in almost any verse that has a willpower based power system he would more or less automatically become the strongest character in that series as soon as he learns how to use that will power-based power system.
So recently, I've heard that the "galaxies" that they were standing on was actually universes and that the writer of GL said so in an interview. I've only heard that from other people on the internet and I've done a little researching myself but have never found anything that suggest so. Plz explain to me.
They were Galaxy shaped structures that represented the Observable Universe and we see that when we view thr battle through the perspective of the Humans on Earth. Earth being inside one of those Universes. There are stated to be Infinite of them by Anti-Spural himself.
Spiral Power is just a synonym for the indominable human spirit and the way our species evolves even on the micro level to conquer all things thrown at us. Our ingenuity. Our creativity. Our intelligence. Our spirit. Spiral Power, and by extension Simon, are an expression of this. It's a way for the writers to pay tribute to all our ancestors and the entirety of the future of our species. We can and will overcome anything and everything. Gurren Lagann is a song of hope. Of love and a song of the story of man.
I was thinking, cause he's on mulity universal level, if he stacks with Giorno and gold requiem but at this point, I feel like they would vibe so hard with each other that it would just be 2 bros at the end of the fight pushing each other to go father then before
See but that's the thing, the entire point of Spiral Power and "Fighting Spirit" is if you want it enough, it will happen, so if GER and Simon faced off, if Simon wanted to win, he could break out of GER, think of the way Simon broke out of the Interdimensional Labyrinth. GER is basically just the same as the Interdimensional Labyrinth anyway.
Giorno will get speed blitzed before he can form a thought and his body will get atomised before he could even form an idea for a reaction. That's what happens when a regular Human fights someone who can move at Infinite speeds and who can destroy a Multiverse. And Simon is still fodder compared to other anime.
@@snow7728 very easy. Dark Schneider. John Constantine. Milk-Man Man. Lucifer Morningstar. Lord Of Nightmares/Lina Inverse. Kami Tenchi. Washu Hakubi Chousin. Anti-Monitor. Parralax Hal Jordan. @@CerealExperimentsMizuki I looked up some of the characters on your list, and honestly some of them don't seem too strong in comparison to Simon. I was expecting god-like characters considering Simon at the height of his series is able alter reality simply with thoughts and willpower. It sounds dumb but he literally punched a guy to another place in space/time and was fighting a foe that could attack him in the past present and future at the same time, trapped his consciousness in an infinite possible multiverse and still won. Gurren Lagann's power scaling is outrageous simply because it all relies on if they think they can win, they do. As long as they have willpower, they can invent new hacks to overcome and obstacle. I'm curious how strong you thought Simon was initially.
Also the most bullshit thing is the author said any version of Gurren Lagann is canon, because its a story about a multiverse. "The Gurren Lagann you believe in is real." So I could just make a Simon that is stronger than anything in fiction essentially just that annoying playground kid that says "Nah but Simon is stronger times infinity+1" and its canon. Its dumb but that's just the way it is 😅
Spiral power is the embodiment of the idea if there's a will there's a way. While using spiral energy, if the user wants something it will happen. Regardless of how impossible it may be it finds a way to make it happen. This is why the anti spiral wanted to crush their spirts. Because as long as they still had spirt and determination, there was always a way for them to eventually win.

Each Elementary Particle in every D.C. Timeline in the Metaverse holds an entire Universe inside of them, that would make each Universe an Infinite Multiverse due to each Universe being stated many times to be Infinite. So the Metaverse would equate to a Hyperversal sized Infinite set of Infinite Multiverses Type 2. So it's literally Infinite Infinities bigger than people think it is. Thr Bleed and thr Timestream are straight up Outerversal and contain other Outerversal Realms. Thr God Sphere with Apocalypse and New Genesis are easily on those Mid to High Outerversal levels and then Limbo would be easily High Outerversal and the Monitor Sphere would be Trans High Outerversal then Final Heaven and thr Ehl Realms would be Infinite Outerversal and the Eonimous Space would be Trans Infinite Outerversal and the Crack would be on those Low Extraversal levels and the Leviathan Of Stories is on those Extraversal to Mid Extraversal levels.
@@CerealExperimentsMizukiNot gonna disagree, but a universe being infinite doesn’t make it an infinite multiverse. You need a better statement like: Each universe has infinite universes inside of it, or something else similar.
TTGL is in essence the embodiment of the indomitable will of the human spirit in anime form. It's unbeatable because it's basically the power of humanity itself embodied in Simon and the cast. You can't beat that concept, at all.
Finally more stuff to help me finish my Simon powerscaling slides Working to prove he beats Joker (P5) and my friends running excuse is that the collective unconscious is like 15th dimensional or somn and I don’t know enough about MegaTen to disagree Thank you I need more ammunition
Your boy is the most powerful character in all of fiction because of how Spiral Power works. Something stronger confronts Simon and he can simply evolve to beat it with his willpower.
@@thegatorhator6822 Kyle is still much stronger, as are numerous other characters in fiction. Kyle with life equation and white lantern ring is easily layers into boundless
Simon, being a truly awakened spiral lifeform, has the ability to infinitely evolve and adapt. He has the potential to be THEE STRONGEST character EVER, in ANYTHING. Spiral power, and it's infinitely evolving nature, is so fuckin powerful, if fully used it would awaken in the masses and lead to the Spiral Nemesis. Where every lifeform evolves so much and so fast that they themselves become mini galaxies, which collapse into a blackhole that destroys the entire universe. In essence, Simon is powerful enough to obliterate all of creation, by complete accident and not even know he did it. That's partly why he didn't revive Nia and the others. That power is what leads to the Spiral Nemesis. Find the strongest entity you can think of, and by the nature of spiral power, Simon could and would surpass them. OP doesn't even begin to explain Simon. Edit: unless a sniper or some shit just domes him hella randomly. Spiral power aint helpin that I don't think. Lol
sizes are super off in pre time skip scaling. the "mountain level" mech is the size of a battle ship. and being tall enough to pierce clouds is magnitudes smaller than "multi continental"
he is infinite dimensional, in fact he fused himself with EVERY POSSIBLE VERSION of his multiversal forms which in turn made him the only simon in existence, BECAUSE OF THIS he was able to gain immunity to cause and effect.
You can't, this guy just doesn't know how to power scale. 12 D is at best Complex Multiversal and to get to High Hyperversal you need to be Infinite Dimensional and to be Low Outerversal you need to exist above Dimensions entirely. Which Simon definitely doesn't as he has no feats nor statements that depict that idea. I came into this video wanting an actual legitimately good and informative scaling analysis but instead I just got a "Simon is Omnipotent because he can do anything because that's what he does in the anime" same logic as "Saitama can one punch anything because it's in his name" which is the complete lack of logic.
@@CerealExperimentsMizuki Gurren Lagann’s whole central theme is logic doesn’t matter, Simon is by all definitions should just be a regular human no different physically than a human in our world yet by the end of the story he becomes stronger than a god by sheer force of will.
I think power scallinh gurren lagann is absolutely besides the point? see, simon is as strong as his motivation, and motivation requires context, story, so you can makeup a scenario where he's as strong or as weak as you want. besides, setting limits and boundries to the character's power is totally against the themes of the series
I always interpreted it as the path Simon would have taken had the anti spiral not intervened. It’s Simon as he’s literally becoming the spiral nemesis
This was pretty good on so many level great work. Also disclaimer Gurren lagann is not the strongest robot in media because once you start looking more deeper into the mecha genre you will start to see some Broken ass shit that are much more extreme than Gurren lagann. An example is "Elder Gods Demonbane" who is a being that exists beyond causality and is able to summon a infinite amount of himself from existence, even version of himself that should be impossible to exist and don't exist. (While I understand people not liking Demonbane in terms of debates its feats of power are undeniably powerful). And no elder God is not the strongest.
Lol no. Simon fights in 11D and higher. None of demonbanes powers can exist if Simon doesn't want them too. Simon never showed his true power bc its infinite, if u pay attention to the end, Simon chooses NOT to keep using his power and growing it
@@tampaxhero5176 Being 11D doesn't really matter if your opponent is beyond all dimensions, Which Demonbane is by the way, and has fought beings with similar powers. Honestly, have you seen/read Demonbane The guy is literally on the same level as Yog-Sogoth who is larger than the multiverse and changes reality (time, space, and the universe/multiverse) with his mere arrival, Demonbane's main gimmick is to kill/destroy gods, and even with his forms(Mars, Twin sword, Elder-God, and even Vortex-Blaster) he’s only the second strongest mech in media? Gurren Lagann barely reaches the top five legit getting destroyed by other far stronger machines. (List in order 5:(Gurren lagann), 4:(Getter emperor), 3:(Aquarion Logos), 2:(Demonbane) and 1:(Mazinger Zero). As much as I love Gurren Lagann it is outmatched by everyone on this list. Getter-Emperor is basically the spiral nemesis in a nutshell, Spiral power is another version of Getter Rays. Aquarion-Logos is a machine that erases/destroys concepts of all types no matter what type of word or narrative they hold. Demonbane is a machine that has transcended infinite dimensions in order to defeat Nyarlethotep and Liber legis both of which are beyond fought throughout the multiverse before their ascension to Hyperdimension and being deleted from reality by Nyarlathotep itself. And Mazinger Zero is basically the king of all mechs due to being the origin point of all mecha/Super-Robots in media(Legit in his own manga he erased the Whole Gurren Lagann verse and other Super Robots shows so that it was the only mecha in all of existence). So yes Demonbane can beat Gurren Lagann along with everyone I’ve mentioned even spiral power can’t help Simon defeat everyone.
@@boltzero2772 actually no. Simon can be as powerful as he desires to, so in a sense he's the most powerful being in his gurren lagann. not talking about he can merge with any mech he wants and take control over it, so...

Watching people try to scale characters based on shit a writer with no understanding of physics beyond a high school level wrote into their story is always hilarious to me especially when the people "scaling" said characters also have little to no understanding of physics. Good video though, well researched and put together, i dont mean to put you or your channel down, i think you do a good job at what youre aiming for.
He’d fridge arguably the weakest green lantern, I don’t see how that’s a flex. But I’m interested, mainly just to hear someone say with conviction on a video someone would beat Goku. The dragon ball stans don’t like when you question their god king lord Goku. I’m not one of those people, I’ve seen him get his ass kicked in every single arc of his story. Goku is not now, nor will he ever be the strongest. Because the people in charge of dragon ball are smart enough to understand that if they actually made him the strongest the story would cease to have any steaks.
I wouldn't say all jojo maybe wonder of u could win since araki said he was the concept of badluck in jojo and he exists in everywhere. And considering you just have to think of Wonder of u to give you heart attack and die it isn't far fetch. Things like concepts and plot can accasionaly make dimensuality pointless. But idk that's just My oppinion.
Simon would never believe in the universe where he wouldn't win, he'd keep going until he comes out on top, always looking forward towards the future, because that's how a drill works
The only reality simon would need to visualize is the one where he's cracking open a Hetap and watching the sun rise on a better universe with goku, only looking towards the future he believes in as it becomes reality, because that's how a drill works
Kinda lost credit as soon as he said that Simon can solo Dragon Ball Heroes since Simon at best has Complex Multiversal 11D power if you go by thr 11 D Labyrinth statement while Xeno Goku alone has High Hyperversal Infinite Dimensional feats and has way better hax.
He's at least 100% high complex multiversal. Especially going by the Vs wiki's scaling, they don't see enough evidence for him being hyperversal. There is a few statements and hints for hyperversal but not enough concrete evidence to solidify it. It's more theoretical/hypothetical in my opinion. You can get hyperversal thanks to "many worlds interpretation", but the other parallel universes in which the main Simon fuses with other Simons are unknown as to whether they have more power or not than 11-D, or even if they run on the same physical laws as the original. It's speculation or a NLF no matter how you look at it. So a safe scaling would be 11-D high complex multiversal. Again, just my own opinion though. Would be happy to discuss with anyone.
@@simon.the.digger2740he is not Hyper lmao. He has easy High Outer shit scaling to New Gods and Emotional Entities. Along with other cross scaling to other Leaguers.
Do you know how much stronger the strongest of gurren lagann can get per second? I'm comparing it to a character that can grow 2 quadrillion times stronger per second does GL beat that growth rate?
Hell no, not without combining with other mecha. There's also other characters in anime that can grow Infinite times every instant like any character from Umineko or BoBoBo from BoBoBo or Dark Schneider in his Majin Form using Judas Priest from Bastard. Also what character you comparing it to??

I disagree with the take that you think Xeno Goku would lose to Simon when you don't know the full capabilities of XG the keysword can take away abilities pre fight, Xeno Goku also has the abilitiy to cross dimensions of higher and different timelines
@@HopeofDC simon denies the probability of that happening 💤, and I know how the keysword lock from the Heroes game works, only works on people standing still lol because DBH is a turn-based video game, that's never hitting a moving opponent, the fight will already be over.
