Fun fact I’m pretty from the WN it is mention that Beretta actual face is actually just Saber from Fate Stay Night because Fuse-sensei was a fate fan and put it in as a joke. That’s why Beretta VA in the anime is Ayako Kawasumi which is Saber’s VA as homage to this joke

Beretta is actually already a big name before rimuru summoned her. She's known as the weird one. She love to research stuff just like ramiris. Once, diablo showed Beretta a video about shizu. She's interested in shizu mask and really fond of the design. That's why she wore a mask. And the mask got the same strokes as shizu mask.
In WN, rimuru crafted a doll for beretta to serve as a body. When he was making the face, he got carried away and created a face that matched his taste in women. But after he was finished with crafting, he got embarrassed that everyone will know that this is rimuru's fav face, so he crafted a mask and told beretta to hide that face for multiple reasons. I think it is supposed to havesome resemblance to shizu's face
