🌟 Awesome job on scoring 8 out of 10 on the quiz! You're making great progress! 🎉👏 Now, let's dive into your questions and explore the fascinating world of language together! 🗺️🌟 The difference among "fees," "fares," and "tolls" lies in their specific contexts and meanings. 💰 Here's a brief breakdown: "Fees" generally refer to payments required for services, membership, or access to certain facilities. "Fares" usually relate to the cost of transportation, such as bus or train tickets. "Tolls" typically pertain to charges for using specific roads, bridges, or tunnels. The distinction between "mandatory" and "needy" lies in their respective meanings: "Mandatory" refers to something that is required, obligatory, or compulsory. It implies that it must be done or adhered to. "Needy," on the other hand, refers to someone who is lacking in resources, such as money, support, or assistance. It describes a person in need or experiencing hardship. Now, let's differentiate between "venue" and "residence": "Venue" refers to a location or place where an event or activity takes place, such as a concert hall, stadium, or conference center. "Residence" typically refers to a place where someone lives or resides, like a house, apartment, or dwelling. I hope these explanations help clarify the concepts for you! I got 9/10. I answered "index" right away upon seeing the phrase "at the back of the book." I disregarded "provides the answer." That was the hint. Nonetheless, one thing I learned from this experience is that to read the statement properly before picking an answer.
