Who can argue that Tadej doesn't deserve this win? And he's so likeable as well, he's a credit to the sport. I think it's a shame that many will deny him the accolades he has coming to him because he's so dominant.
@@Pipe_JL Agreed, so many have to resort to calling them cheats as they can't fathom that an athlete can be better than others. It's always been a thing in sport, there are those that are just better than others. Take Usain Bolt for example, he dominated sprinting over many years, he was just simply better than everyone. It didn't help in this Giro that Tadej had no competition, so he was poised to just dominate. Also it didn't help that he wants to win everything he enters, so he goes for the wins on stages despite holding a comfortable GC lead. Personally, I love him as a racer, and enjoy watching him race.
@@ShimmyD-u7g Usain was priviledged, he doped due permission, corruption exists, btw. All cycling legends who have been overly dominating have aftermath got caught of doping, coincidence? There is no hate mate, this is just what professional sports are all about, its business at the end of day. When someone is overly good, history shows that there is a high likelyhood that they are on a special program. This is just statistics, no emotional connection to this. When you want to be greatest and dominate, you must have these two things together, talent and help, very often.
It might not be that difficult to win the Giro for him if all the similar calliber riders are injured and had no chances to compete at all. Speaking of Pidcock, Vinegaard, Evenepoel, Roglic.
To me the upcoming tour of france race will be absolutely epic and legendary. With Tadej and Remco and Primoz and hopefully Jonas fully recovered 100%! Last year Tadej crashed and hurt his hand and i dont think he was fully 100% and still fought and attacked Jonas. Anyways yea this years tour of france will be one of the best ever. Cant wait! Rooting for Tadej to get Revenge!
Tadej Pogacar is absolutely the best to win the Giro. Even if Jonas Vingegaard was there, Tadej Pogacar would still win. The mountains were not steep and long enough. A Jonas Vingegaard in a stage race with long, steep mountains will always beat Tadej Pogacar. Tadej Pogacar knows that which makes me a fan of him because he tries again and again.
Well..he beat by a huge margin a group of formidable opponents like young Geraint and Nairo-superstars at the top of their powers as well as the mighty Alaphilippe who hasn’t lost a single race recently so he SURELY must have doped, ain’t that right?
thecyclingdane: "How Tadej Pogačar DOMINATED The Giro d'Italia 2024 | EXPLAINED" answer: "Pogacar had NO competition. All his worthy rivals are out nursing serious injuries! A good rider, YES. But NO competition!
none of them were ever racing giro bud ....their schedules are set before season primoz, jonas, remco could have targeted giro as well none did. Who do you suggest beats tadej in this shape? Hes won flanders over mathieu, liege isnt copetitive remco cant hold his wheel or follow him in sprint how would he win, lombaria nope primoz tried, jonas wont dare try one days skjelmose is nationals champ. He outsprinted mads on san remo and smoked field again at strade. Jonas is like a paret_peintre hes a featherweight for big climbs tadej beats all best specialist in world at their preferred disciplines. Everything short of beating sprinters at schediprijs. That will never happen Who is a better rider than tadej when healthy? Kid won 3 stage and podiumed a vuelta at 19 that featured prime primoz, superman lopez, valverde you name it. Won a tour with no team in 2020 he rides a bike like a kid a wins toughest races doing it. Dont compare him to anyone else Hinault was best id seen in my life tadej is better hes with coppi and merckx always has been just takes time for palmares to fill out. He could have won 9 stages against a tour winner and beating ganna in ITT. Thomas took primo to final stage last year and was still in pink. Get a clue man
@@G-Train Pogi has been winning in the same way since his junior days. Even the older groups were no match for him. Just like they're not now that he's grown up.
No question they ALL dope but UAE has found a magic combination that works wonders with Pog. He's as doped as LA and yet no one questions multiple stage wins by large margins, finishing brutal stages looking fresh as a daisy and the fastest giro average speed ever? It's not improved diet and training, cuz that's what the LA fanboys said back 20 years ago. Pog seems like a nice guy, but he's clearly juiced. He should learn to throttle it back a bit and maybe make the margins closer to make it less obvious.
Perceived lack of revivals? The only interesting story is, can he win the tour? If his revivals are healthy....No ..The battle for 2nd and 3 was the most interesting part of the race.
@@G-Train They never learn. Why doesn't the UCI just remove all banned substances? Racing under a 'clean' moniker is a joke. Cycling is dirty. Always has been, always will be.
UAE Domestiques were super strong, he alone cannot do it. Kudos to all UAE domestiques, this also happened to TDF 2024. Last year 2023, during the UCI World Championship, he alone could not go along with the king MVDP. So cycling is a team effort not solely one person game. KUDOS to UAE DOMESTIQUES.
Tadej is a great cyclist he has been preparing for this and he deserves it completetly. I like his style of racingand I hope he will have the same result in Tour De France. CONGRATULATION TADEJ!
Are we expected to believe that clean riders can go faster than ever, every day and never tire or get worn down???? Human anatomy doesn’t allow this. Ok, incremental gains are a thing, and will allow modest increases in speed, but what has that got to do with NEVER TIRING no matter that you push to the limit everyday???. Improved nutrition is a BS explanation as many of the Italian teams have always eaten super clean and yet their riders would eventually tire.
