What was your favorite game on the 3DS?

Just cause production has come to an end doesn't mean the ride is over. This system has a seriously impressive library of games, I'm sure people will always be able to come back to it and still have a great time. It's never over! Long live the 3DS.

The 3DS is so nostalgic and my favorite handheld

I feel like the 3ds is one of those consoles that will age really really well in the future. Emulation for starters just doesn’t compare to the original 3DS hardware. The two screen setup with touch screen will only really work on original hardware. The 3ds emulator no matter how good the game looks just doesn’t play right and it won’t ever. The portable nature of the system means games won’t look like shit on modern TVs like GameCube ps2 etc. not to mention backwards with DS.

I still have my good ol 3DS and DSi handhelds. I use them mostly for pictures or as an alarm clock ❤️

I still feel that buying a 3DS is a much better investment than a switch lite, it’s got more features, an actual virtual console, menu and shop music, plus a better install base!

3:20 actually the 2ds was the first non foldable handheld since the gameboy micro, which came out after the gameboy advance.

still i think nintendo should of kept the DS brand alive by having it as a even more budget option like 3DS - £100 Switch lite - £200 Switch/pro -£300/350

Aah I love this handheld so much. I own a new 3ds for playing with over 150 games and have a sealed new 3ds xl limited samus metroid edition, a sealed 2ds xl limited minecraft edition and a sealed 2ds xl limited animal crossing edition.

People forget the 3DS has been around since 2011...it’s had the longest shelf-life of any nintendo portable in nintendo’s history. In the last few years developers moved on to the Switch which inevitably killed any remaining support for the 3DS

i remember really liking the 3ds and having so much fun with my cousins and friends just playing for hours, i slowly did lose alot of interest in it and thought of it as worthless ever since i got into other things, it was the 3rd gaming device i owned, wii and ds being before that. i swear i played the 3ds to near death, kinda sad that i lost the charger and never really had the thought to buy another one. I might get one and revisit my favorite games.

It will always be the elite console. The dual screen gameplay was so unique.

Wii U & 3DS are the peak of Nintendo quality.

My switch collects dust (along with my expensive gaming PC, at least on a games front) Just nothing like the N3DS, I love it so much. So relaxing in bed and a GODTIER jrpg library. Just amazing. Still play it daily

I've never consider the 3ds as failing. It's more like phasing out. The console in my opinion is an icon and it would never go away because a lot will be picked up and like the ds it would probably be iconic console.

The 3DS deserved better. Even during its lifetime 3rd parties shafted it and instead focused on smartphone games which are free to download but bully you into spending £1000+ on in-app purchases!

It's a damn shame Nintendo won't make a 3DS2. I feel like the 3DS never had its own Coraline or Avatar equivalent. Movies have already proven that 3D can be more than just a gimmick. Video games should have been able to pull off the same feat but no game on the 3DS quite manages to capture that level of atmosphere. Additionally, the rise of the Switch also places Nintendo's handheld future into uncertainty. After all, what's the point of even making a handheld when you have a home console you can play anywhere? While Shuntaro Furukawa brought Nintendo out of the shadows that the Wii U created, he also apparently doomed their handheld legacy.

I bought myself an r4 for my 2ds to hold me off from buying a switch but that super mario all stars tho..

I have an idea for a Pokemon game amiibo Pokemon journey you would use the special Pokemon amiibo along with the special Pokemon cards to unlock outfits Pokemon and the trainer and also unlock upgrades to pokeballs and upgrades to Pokemon riding vehicles and you can also unlock Pokemon power armor and also unlock new forms for rotom and new evolutions for Eevee even unlock new mega evolution and new gigantamax forms in the game you can train your Pokemon to become the strongest Pokemon Master in the game you travel across the entire Pokemon universe to become the Pokemon Master play with your friends with massive multiplayer online only on Nintendo consoles I think this would be a good idea for Pokemon video game

Sony's PlayStation Vita is way better than Nintendo's handhelds because the PS Vita did not rely on friend codes. Plus, the 3DS series was nothing but shit because there were not that many good games for them.
