Thanks, it's a very useful video explaining how the capacitance works and how a capacitive liquid sensor works. It would be nice to measure the actual level of water, by modifying the distance between the plates of the capacitor.

Hi, I have the same sensor. However, it senses even when I shake my hand or touch the bottle in which I attached the sensor. I only have the sensor though not the module connected the sensor in your video . can this be the reason why sensor senses my hand
