King Constantine never wanted to bring Greece in the Central Powers, he didn't even want for Greece to join the war in the first place. The fact that many people tend to believe that the King was pro-German is just a misconception. That was not the real reasoning behind his actions, he just knew that the war was pointless for Greece to join.
Your scenraio should be called "What if in 1916 the Central Powers all the sudden triple the size of thei armies and are thus able to win eith ease on the entire front"
Holy Roman Mapping No they weren’t before the that Bulgaria was fully invaded and Austria-Hungary and The Ottoman Empire were on the verge of collapsing.
@@hatefulgaming1800 The empire was much more stabilised and centralized. So in turn,it had to cede territories,it had to since to upheld the integrity of the empire towards modernization. That's why North Africa and the other states like the caucasus was lost because the empire was in a state of decline for centuries,it's slowly but surely. However, the Tanzimat reformations was aimed to strengthen and refurbish the empires already ineffective janissary corps with much more disciplined, organised and more importantly, effectual in combat unlike the feudal lords the janissaries deemed to be.The Ottoman army in WW1 was much better equipped and trained than during the pre 1828 or even the early post 1828 which was post tanzimat. It is due to Abdulhamid II's rapid modernization, economic revival of the state by repaying the Ottoman debt approximately 90% with only 10% remaining which was like millions of pound to the Brits which was the debt acquired due to the Crimean Wars in the 1850s.It is also of his initiative to build railways and other accommodations etc.The Ottomans hadn't any problems but it suffered weapon shortage and entrenching tools towards the end of the war due to the vast fronts it had to endure the winter of the Caucasus, the deserts of Arabia, the rocky terrain of anatolia and not to forget the supply line was basically inadequate as the war progresses in which the Ottoman Army make up for the loophole with their bravery with the support of AHE and German troops that is but the Arab revolts made things worse and the one which changed the outcome of the middle east we know today, that one OG grave mistake that made matters worst in the region for years to come.
+Nick HD Mapping Hi Nick! Love your videos, but I have a question. When are you going to make the next video of AFoE? That ending made me very curious on whats next. Thanks!!
+SE MegawizardLTU Lithuania didn't get Vilnius Back until after WWII... i mean maybe from the treaties it could lay the seed to make a alternative wwii aswell!
I guess i didn't look into that xD Yeah they should of had it, Poland could live without the Northwest... especially if it was a soul part of lithuania!
In terms of the the sheer volume of resources, organised logistics, strategic tactical positions, and a limitless supply of man power to expend tipped the balance instantaneously for the allies. These variables make the possibility naught for the central powers. Ludendorff already knew the outcome of a prolonged war, yet they fought battles of attrition for favourable terms in the culminating years of the war. If the Italians joined the central imperial powers on negotiated terms with the Austrohungarian empire; it may have had a considerable effect on the outcome or undoubtedly prolonged the war.
+the derpy doodleman I don't think Japan would be a Wild Card. By all means, the Allies are defeated by the Central Powers. Japan wouldn't be frustrated returning Kiaotschou bay and the Pacific colonies of Germany. Though I do think that Japan might side with the Germans as they won the ww1 and is a strong nation that after the war can rival Britain and in some cases, out class it. Therefore, judging by the fact that Japan favoured a stronger European Ally, I think they would instead side with the Germans as an excuse of gaining colonies of the British while they are distracted at war.
the derpy doodleman I can say much about the Great Depression. Since the US didn't enter the war, the industry never boomed like it is in the 1920's. Coupled with bad debts left by the British on it's own war effort, I don't see the premises for a Great Depression, but certainly Revanchism in Europe.
ModMagician I don't think the german monarchy would experience trouble. It would most likely fall into civil war and which ever faction wins that civil war will control germany. However france and GB, which would likely be communist or fascist states at this piont, would take advantage and invade or make germany a puppet. And of course with all this going on Japan can epand in the Pacific and china. And if the US gets involved. .. the piont is the world will not likely be peaceful, we would still see a ww2 style event.
If the central powers won, the de facto world international language wouldn't be English, it would be German. German was the main language of the central government of two of the central powers, Germany (no shit) and Austria Hungary.
Great Job ! But you know , the France of 1914 wasn't the France of 1940 , they surrended so easily in 1940 because they were traumatized by WW1. In WW1 , even if Paris was taken , they wanted to continue the fight in the moutains, Brittany and from the Empire ! But this doesn't matter , awesome video ! :D
Why did Bulgaria enter earlier? How did the Austro-Hungarians manage to invade Poland in this timeline? Why did Bulgaria annex less land? Why did large parts of Greece go blue? Did the Serbs occupy Athens without the Greeks joining a side? Why did the Greeks later join the CP? Why did Germany invade the Netherlands?
You must primal not quite understood what happened there. As you can see, the Netherlands did not turn blue when the German army entered. This means that the country remains neutral but only gives military access to another. So they basically can place their troops inside their territory during the war.
Why did Britain give in? Germany had more to lose from continued war than Britain (mass starvation and a lack of access to certain raw materials vs lack of access to some European markets (though the Continental System of Napoleon gives a good example of why even that would be a relatively mild consequence). Obviously the UK can't reclaim the continent for the Entente, but they could try to starve the Germans out.
Nice video and all, but if the UK was helping France there's simply no way Germany could beat France alone with half of its forces in Russia. And don't forget trench warfare. If Germans wanted to beat France they would have to do it with all of their forces. Defeat of Serbia isn't much of a change either, Serbia was anyway beaten in 1915 in the middle of the war. Still though nice video, keep it up :)
+Someone ok, well I'm not going to stop just because one person doesn't like my videos. No one is forcing you to watch my videos, so if you don't like them, then don't watch.
+Someone Its my viewers and subscribers who mean more to me then any troll ever does. And looking at the responses by my viewers and subscribers, to my videos, I'm pretty assured that they like them, and wouldn't be subscribed to me if they didn't like my videos. So, say what you want, because 1 person who doesn't like my videos is nothing compared to 1,270+ subscribers. Have a nice day.
Wouldn't Romania join the Central Powers in 1916 instead of joining the Entente in 1915? Romania had some secret Treaty with the Central Powers and could join them to fight against Russia for Bessarabia
Oh my god ive almost forgot what last happened in your afoe coz its been so long! If it wasnt for your afoe series i wouldnt have found you and you wouldnt have become my favourite mapper to exist in this galaxy
I am usually not much into the Alternative His. , but this was sure an exception. Except , wouldn't 'Murica get involved and the Bolsheviks attack them? And the other neutral countries?
Pesky old America. We're like that big kid at school who has to stick his nose into every single argument on behalf of one person for no reason other than because they always do.
Even if I enjoyed your video very much, this is not a "How the Central Powers could win WW1", this is "Some events that could have made the Central Powers win WW1". Eitherway, good work!
I don't get it... how did they win? The Schlieffen Plan didn't work, cus Paris was not taken until mid-war, which means they had to fight a war of attrition (which the Central Powers were sure to lose). However, if this is supposed to be unrealistic, then nvm C: Good job!
+StopDeath817 Not really, actually Greece was occupied by the Allies until they actually joined the central powers and crushed the allies that were resting inside their borders.
Its not realistic how could germany beat france and immedialty after lunch a large offensive in russia. The road to paris would have been very costly for germany.
+The Geography Bacca MittelEuropa plan is put into affect, Austria-Hungary would probably split up into various different states forming a Austro-Hungarian Commonwealth rather than an empire. If the Russian Civil War still happened then Germany would intervene on behalf of the Whites, executing people like Lenin. France would most defiitely play the role of Nazi Germany in our timeline, however I think that they would be communist due to the socialist influence in the area. Ireland probably would revolt against the British again, Britain would have kept it's colonies. Belgium becomes a German puppet state, so does the Netherlands. Also, Italy would remain a kingdom for some time, however if Mussolini still takes power than who knows. Also Libya and Rodos are returned to the Ottomans. Bulgaria would become the dominant power in the Balkans, and Yugoslavia never exists unless Serbia get's the ultimate revenge. The far future? Who knows. If ww2 still happened and if Germany won then decolonization would still happen, but the Kaiser would still be the head of state for those countries, a German Commonwealth if you will. Britain would follow suit as well, and Germany would still have her territories in both the West and the East. The Fatherland would truly stretch from Maas to Memel, from Esch to Belt.
The "problem" was America because Russia was beaten and France Great Britain and Italy couldn't win against Germany yes I just say Germany because Austria took the capital city of Serbia (they held it not that long) and after that every time when they won land Germany was involved and I know there were more like the Turks and the Bulgarian
Austria-Hungary was still far more powerful than the Ottoman (or Bulgaria of course). Germany did indeed most of the job, but taking Austria and the Ottoman at the same level for this war is going too far.
