I’ve work with female CEO before, and she is exactly like this. There is a reason why people like her become a CEO, her leadership, confidence, her competency is on another level.

To be honest there’s a reason why she is the CEO, there’s a reason why she basically helped lead fashion for like 20+ years, there’s a reason why she’s still at the top of fashion, at the top of her game, and there’s a reason why you’re commenting talking about you don’t like her too so in the end she still successful she still making $1000 per week the salary and increasing her pay every year because she successful. Y’all stay mad and stagnant.

I don't understand why people in the comment are criticizing the boss only by a clip that's probably scripted. In my opinion she is realistic, she takes care of her employees by negotiating their salary and agree on it. That's why she wants them to reach their yearly goal in return. If you're talking about her dictatorship, I think it's because she knows what's best for her company and one of it is by moving her employee to another division. Esteem is a big company, if they can't keep up with her style of working then there are still other people lining up to take over their job.

The CEO is also struggling, she's also tired from working, she's stressed. She has a lot on her plate especially because she's the boss. I feel sorry for her because she's somehow carrying a burden. She's keeping her struggles to herself unlike the other employees. She's strong!

Oddly enough, if I had a boss as strict as her, Id be 5x more motivated on my work. Id actually want to prove to my boss that im qualified. Its just a satisfying feeling. Plus you would leave with a strong experience but thats just my perspective

I know how it feels. My CEOs and finance director only focus on maximizing shareholders profit, my past COO used to overlook employees' mistakes, it actually kept the problems instead of bringing solutions. My boss, the finance director, is totally the opposite, she's honest and if someone happens to do something wrong she is firm and straightforward, she became the person my CEOs trust the most. That's why you have to be professional, I don't understand some comments saying the CEO Kim is bad or anything, she's doing her job.

You wont be ceo for being super nice. Shes doing her job well. I'd rather have an open and straight forward boss than a blood sucking one

Honestly, I want a Boss like this. I've been with one for almost 2 years and I must say that our team are disciplined compared to others. We know that in our every action, there's a corresponding reaction or results that may result to something. As a result, our scores are better plus we gain the trust and recognition of other people as they know how our Boss works. Yes, they are really intimidating and scary but they know what is the best. Ofcourse, some of us cried during Coaching session but it made us better.

At the end of the day success and loss is targeted towards the CEO, her name is widespread throughout the company ....senior leadership wouldn't ask about the IT person or the Team Leader or the Event Manager...they will go direct to the CEO. Her best interests are the same as everyone who works and that's to make a living.

I can understand her. All got worries but the boss or owner worries about all the elements.

Mr.choi is like her spy he develops a trusting relationship with the employees than reports his fundings to her. Psychology plays a huge role in the workplace.

I think it is so easy to criticize someone in her position, but what I realized while working is that even higher ups get shit from even higher ups. Sometimes they have to be harder on the people below them because the people above them want results. It's hard on everyone. It's easy to say we should all work in a harmonious environment and I have worked with good and bad bosses, good bosses aren't always best either.

I love her. Like yeah she is harsh but she was harsh with the first team because they were below their target. That's EVERYONE'S bread and butter right there. That's the jobs of not only the people in that room but everyone under them. It's nothing to take lightly. Second team exceeded their target and she praised them. Idk I just really like the way she runs her business, and considering she's been in the business for so long, she must be doing something right.

Actually it’s quite good for you to learn how to work in different positions because it will help you to earn more experience

I find her a successful dilligent working women and the employees couldn't even tell her the showtime! They are the one who's lagging here and should be rebuked. But KBS is showing her as a devil and sugercoating the employees disrespectful behavior like when one told his dog to bite her. What kind of boss is sweet enough to go tie your hair.

What's wrong with all these people criticizing her 🙄 She's just a charismatic and a workaholic boss. Isn't it also better to be honest and straightforward rather than to talk about you behind your back? Also, this is a huge company that we're talking about. You need to move your a$$ if you want to stay working in here. You can't just stay still and chill, expecting that the profits from this company would just increase by itself. Most of comment state this is worst leadership, yet the truth is there is no perfect leadership style. Every organisation need different leadership style. If u cannot bear this style, then other style will work better for u. But to state she is worst boss, it’s laughing matter. Why? Ask yourself if u in her place. What leadership style u will use. In school, I always learned the most and grew a lot in my skills from the teachers who were strict, stern, and intimidating. But behind that tough image, they were very caring and always willing to go above and beyond for their students. You don't learn or grow from nice and easy-going bosses, sorry to say. Bosses like her that are tough on the outside when it comes to work but sincere and genuine when it comes to personal stuff are the best!

Woah she is totally goals, as someone that studies Management I fell in love with her and her company.

What most dont get is that it is a very fast moving industry and its hard to stay in the top. It well know for a fact that anything with modeling is hard everywhere. She seems to pay the models and the employers well which is why they are staying with her and it would not have been possible without her strict bossing (not saying her method is perfect she could improve but it seems to work for them so 🤷‍♀️) P.s why is no one saying how it's sad that she is such a workaholic?

She is nice. She put a lot of effort to make a good workplace for her employe and pay them well. It's understandable that in return she want result.

Honestly she seems like a strict boss but one that knows how to motivate her employees and respect them. She is honest but not offensive, she is strict but not overbearing. That makes the difference between a boss that is respected by employees and one that people are afraid of. She is not only a boss but also a leader. People that are leaders inspire others to become better.

It's really hard to work when the CEO is always around checking your work. I know she's trying to help them to gain more, but a little bit of encouragement can really brighten up the mood and help them to become more productive instead of showing how dumb they are.

I just started watching her videos today (only watched this one and the videos with jrx) and i really admire her a lot. I completely understand how tiring it must be for her employees and how hard they all work, but you cant get to the position shes in by trying to please everyone. Plus while the employees are complaining i dont see them genuinely hating on her, and she is as free with her praises as she is with criticisms. And tbh anyone who pays their employees well is a good boss i think

As a HR student I’m on employees side because that type of boss definitely gonna make her employees stress out a lot and job dissatisfaction but as I think on CEO side I could understand as well it’s hard to manage a successful business so she needs to be strict to her employees.. From what I saw the boss is strict but at the same time she still respect her employee as well.. I mean despite her hurtful remarks the employees will definitely work harder and give better results rather than sugarcoating the words and get worst results.. Idk it’s my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Being strict with your employers and nitpicking each and every thing won't keep your employees motivated. You get the teacher-student effect. Kids will pretend to study when the teacher is present and start slacking when they're not. It's not a conscious decision, it's a simple cause-effect thing. That's why it's not wise for her to jump on every little thing, picking battles and taking on a coaching route is better. Also, if you keep shutting employees down at a meeting like that, they won't be forthcoming next time with creative ideas, fearing the backlash. Meaning the CEO will be doing a lot of the thinking, because she keeps going down hard on the mistakes. The more she holds onto the reigns, the less independent her employees become. It hampers creativity. Her employees are not as experienced as she is, therefore she needs to come down hard only when there are big mistakes being made compared to the amount of experience these employees have. Sure, I'd push for the employee to go get the lights changed, it's crucial, because the guests need to be able to see their products no matter what the techs say. But coming down on something trivial as the slip of the mind over when the event ends is not productive. That's something I would've let go.

To be honest I really think she’s a great boss, she’s powerful and confident because she understands what the world is like and that’s why she makes good choices, it’s not being mean and overreacting, the details are really important so that’s why she needs to be rigid.

Bosses should be like that to achieve the goal of the company however, outside the company, bosses should be become sociable to their employees.

her leadership style is "perish or control" leadership style it means she have low concern for people but high concern in task completion, she focuses only in the production related matters but less attention to the needs of her employees. She sees her employees as expandable resources and not as her institutional family this will result to job dissatisfaction by the employees thus the productivity of the team is only short lived and it will result to high employee turnover. Her leadership style is somewhat dictatorial

I love how she sees your potential and trust your words but still being strict. The employer said that they will do it but someone else was unsure of it, but she didn't hesitate to encourage the employer saying "if they say they can do it. Let them do it" if I had that kind of boss that trusts me and knows what they can get from me if they push hard enough, I'd stay there forever! If I slack, She will push me to be better and know my place, because the end of the day I earn the same amount of money, but the company won't if I make mistakes and slack off, so why pay me if I do that? No wonder that lady stayed for 12 years, she must've grown so much just buy working there!

She is the type of boss that i would love to work with. She is a true inspiration. No unnecessary yelling or curse words and she teaches with passion. Yes, her words bite but i have seen worse. But of course i would still be scared of her 😅

To be honest, it's stressful and intimidating to work with her. But it's another reason why CEOs need to be that way in order to make sure her staff are in tip top level. What I like is she does acknowledge those that work hard. You have to be hard on your staff at times so that they wont get complacent along the way.
