I always thought jedi should be using the droids while the cis use clones. Droids are a lot more morally good then creating life just for war which you'd think the jedi would be vehemently against

If they had used the Clone Army to attack, they could’ve succeeded a lot faster as the Republic had no standing army and a first, decisive strike would’ve been the beginning of the end for the Republic. Instead of two opposing factions, that they ran at the same time, they should’ve sticked to the original plan to attack the Republic but with the Jango clones.

We need a video about why the Clone War is called that, pretty sure no one ever thought the Clone Wars were about clones fighting for the Jedi.

besides getting to see an hear Palpatine utter his infamous order to enact order 66. We DID see them clones turn on and wage war against the Jedi. it just took long and they did true to Sith nature made themselves seem like friends and allies till the Jedi were trusting and had their guard lowered. Which then made the attack which might've failed like prior times did.. ESPECIALLY if as still seen as heroes and Republic protectors the Galactic Senate could've called up a just as big a army to help fight the now enemy clones or being respected enough before being made to seem traitors.. If they tried the traditional Sith method of just attack the Jedi with a clone army other then how the events unfolded in the comics and movies a regular non clone army could've also mobilized to help the Jedi on their own which wouldn't have helped them in the end. So Palpatine was right to first discredit them after setting up the Republic/Separatist war to get the Clones to be seen as armed help in order to help kill them later. In this case it seems the movie, comic and show way as we know it was the best outcome

The last thing generals would expect would be for be their own army to turn against them, considering the jedi were generals, and trapped under the thumb of the republic, the sith brought a crushing defeat upon them.

Order 66 is a trap to murder most of the Jedi and branded them traitors to the Republic. Order 66 was introduced in Revenge of The Sith, after the death of General Grievous on Utapau by the hands of Obi Wan Kenobi. Also after the death of Mace Windu; Anakin Skywalker assisting Palpatine to murder him, so Anakin can become Palpatine's new apprentice and crowned him Darth Vader. Palpatine is the only one who can issue Order 66 and it succeeded; most of the Jedi were killed by their own clone army. While others survived including: Obi Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Quinlan Vos, Rahm Kota, and Ahsoka Tano.
