Blame goes two ways. In this case, I place the blame on WB for not allowing CW to use the Batman franchise to its fullest potential. Especially despite the fact that CW has proven themselves to be capable of handling the DC Heroes. Honestly, having a full Batman show in the Arrowverse would have been an amazing experience to see.

Three series that took place in Gotham City with no Batman. All failures. Two series in Smallville with Clark Kent. The first one ran for ten years. See the formula? I don't know how long Gotham knights was being planned, noway it would work on the same network as batwoman. The network was devoted to batwoman, even after it fell apart in the first season. The first episodes of what was supposed to be the last season of Flash was an abbreviated 4th season of batwoman. All we got for Stargirl, the show that was fun to watch, was two confusing minutes on one Titan episode.

It bothers me alot that we never got a Batman CW show, pretty much because Batman is a character that you can tell great stories with low budget since Batman doesn't have any powers so CGI wouldn't be a problem at all Imagine, just imagine a chronological Batman TV series, how amazing that would be if they adapted the iconic Batman stories like Year One, Long Halloween, Dark Victory, Knightfall and etc... Anyways, shame on CW and Warner

There is an answer to this. DC and Warner Bros are not fine with Batman appearing on TV, as they believe it would only remind people of the campy Adam West show. Which is why Batman has been strictly removed from television.

Technically Angel, Supernatural and Smallville were the WB network. That's like comparing Fox family channel with Freeform

The Gotham TV show was probably the best out of all the live action tv shows that are Batman adjacent. Batwoman sucked and so did Gotham knights. I’m one of the 3 people who actually enjoyed the Titans tv show and that was probably the show with the most Batman elements in it but objectively Gotham was better. That show had some incredible performance from the Penguin, the Riddler, Jerome/Jeremiah, Jim Gordon, the best Harvey Bullock we’ll ever get in live action and the best Alfred. I loved Gotham despite its weird lore tweaks and none of the others even compare.
