How The Fermi Paradox Explains The Combine 

Great video man. It's plainly and simply explained, which is harder than it sounds. I would say tho you definitely need to put larger gaps inbetween sentences. Also some lore corrections from a dedicated HL lore nerd here. We know from final hours of half life alyx, in a bit where they talked about the striders, that the striders and other synth most likely (other synth are not mentioned) are infact creatures that were at some point scanned and altered to a point of no semblance to the original creature - only fitting what the combine had imagined for their purposes, and are then cloned endlessly and augmented. They said that the construction strider was supposed to be an imperfected strider that is still in development / in the altering process. At first I thought this was alot less cool than having these creatures be real creatures stolen from their homeworld and augmented, but the more I think about it the more I think it's incredibly impressive the combine is able to do these types of things, just completely play god and create an entire species from scratch with nothing but a simple layout / idea / reference from another species. I'd also refrain from using the cinematic mod for capturing footage - yes it can look good in some areas but it is completely lore inaccurate and it might twist what some people imagine these locations to look like - if they're not half life fans, and it might make some lore nerds incredibly upset.

i'm 16 seconds in, and it has to be said, you need to work on the pacing of your speech and the articulation of your english, my brother. you may not think people will stick around for 30+ mins, but it's more important that was you do say is clearly understandable. i hope you take this criticism as constructive and i will give a sub to see how you get on in the future
