THEY GOT EXTREMELY LUCKY WTF.. Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Bogut, Livingston, ALL flawed players before playing and developing for the Warriors... now of course you have to give it to the coaching staffs and organization and of course players for overcoming their criticisms, but they still are mostly lucky to have had these subpar prospects and veteran wash ups turn out so well for them... ALSO GSW have a top3 crowd and atmosphere (OKC and TO).

Can't believe it's nearly been a whole decade since the Warriors started their build to become what they are now. Can't even believe Steve Kerr's been doing his thing for nearly 5 years! After this they added KD, and Boogie. Incredible.

People hate on the Warriors but they built a team the right way. Through the draft. And why wouldn't they wanna pick up a superstar like KD? They play some of the most beautiful basketball I've ever seen. It's all about making others better around them and it's fun to watch

I've been a warriors fan my whole life and it was so cool to see the rise from the bottom to the top in this team... I still remember the last game of the 11-12 season we started 5 rookies against the Spurs. Then the next year we upset the nuggets and kept building. Now this team has a chance to go back to back! I'm not even a Warriors fan. But for all the idiots that keep saying 3-1 about them, they didn't even have their whole team for 3 of the loses. Bogut went down when a knee injury and he's there paint defender and rebounder and LeBron had to cry at the press conference about Green, having him suspended for a game. With all that, it made it 1000% easier for the Cavs to win and once they did they had all the momentum going into game 7. If Bogut and Green are playing Warriors would have taken it in a max 6 games.

I could not believe it when the Minnesota Timberwolves took Ricky Rubio, and then passed on Stephen Curry to take Johnny Flynn. This was the worst draft mistake since Portland took Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan.

yes its a star driven league, yes they have many stars (and added KD since this) but the blueprint is the fact that the coaches instituted a system the players trusted, acquired players that fit that system and execute it night in and night out.

I never understood why people act like all the players they got sucked. Curry was incredible in college, led a crappy college team far into the ncaa championship. Klay the son of a former NBA player was a great shooter in college. Harrison Barnes was this like young great college player. Bogut was good, he was like the Bucks 2nd best player and I'm pretty sure was a number 1 pick. They act like draymond was a surprise but he had just won high school championships and led his ncaa team to a championship, of course he's good. Iggy was an all star for the nuggets and just decided to go to the warriors. Idk why u wouldn't, a team with Steph curry who was on the rise and great young players like draymond, Harrison and Klay.

I remember watching this whole thing build. While everyone was paying so much attention to Lebron on the Heat I was watching Steph and Klay start building some chemistry together. Then when they picked up Iggy I knew they had a chance to make a run for a championship.

But yet people Hate the Warriors where this Team was built not Bought like the CAVS and my Heat smh

If there is one thing that is could be unprecedented is that the Warriors scouting was favoring a certain type of player and skill set to compliment what they got with Klay and Steph. Barnes and Green are both tall and long for their position. Also helps that both can also shoot the three-ball. Iguodala is also long for his position with an even better resume as a defender, though he showed he's better coming off the bench until certain matchups showed itself. This was also consistent with their priority of getting Livingston who was a very tall point guard who can come off the bench. Many other role players they have are also tall wings who can shoot. And this would prove to be pivotal in their kind of position-less basketball where they can still play that kind of defense that suffocates the perimeter and wings while having bigs like Bogut who can protect the rim. Now 3-and-D guys who are long are highly valued in the league with Barnes who will possibly command a team paying him big money this off season.

I wonder how mad Jordan, Howard, and Chandler jones are for picking other teams over the Warriors..Remarkable how this team formed from unfortunate injuries which lead to drafting Klay, to losing in the first round to the rival Clippers to get Kerr as a coach. Just so many weird things had to happen for this team to be this great. Absolutely NO WAY any team can replicate their success...

Livingston one of thee most solid and underrated guards in the league. Not flashy, never turns the ball over, great defense. The number of times he has iced another team's run with his well calculated mid-rangers is one of the main reasons why GSW won a lot of their rings.
