OMG does it matter that they didn’t release the names of the godparents or that the christening wasn’t open to the press! As for Kate and William, quite honestly, other than their own wedding pictures and immediate family pictures, they tend to look uncomfortable and have forced smiles for these huge family portraits, but we also don’t know how long they were sitting there forced to have a smile on their face. It's called double standards. The yellow press gives a sh.t for so called other people's money. Harry has his own family now and wants to protect his child. He will focus more on his own projects. Let's be honest. William is probably very well educated when it comes to behaviour as the king after his father. I do believe that William is genuine in this because Diana had a big influence on him and she taught her children what real life is about. But she died when they were kids. If he had wanted a woman like this, thousands of naive girls would have married him immediately. Obviously he looked for somebody else. Harry wants to avoid that his children have to go through what he had to go through. All the media, everywhere, insulting his mother in hope of her freaking out and having her pictures taken. That would have been worth so much. The more unusual the picture, the better it sells. That's simple math. Let's hope all of the kids can have a quite normal childhood. And if things develop normally, the yellow press will concentrate more on William's children, hoping they are their daily bread, so to speak. You can be ugly and poor, but with royal blood you see wide open doors. You belong to the club either from birth or never. He said himself he's very traditional, so is Kate, when they had their first interview on the engagement day. I thought he is the teacher and the boss, Kate the obedient pupil. No other royal have kept the information private and since we are paying for it they need to abide by royal protocol instead of going over Her Majesty's rules and deciding to do whatever they feel like doing. If they wish to do that, they should get off the payroll. Having said that, Christenings in The Church of England are indeed public, so I don;t know why they are being shady, we can just look up the christening record and see who the godparents are and the order of service.
Archie is mini me of his dad and Archie is a private citizen his parents choose not to give him a title to keep him out of the spotlight. As an American, who pays thousands in taxes annually, I would like to know how much the British people actually pay annually towards the royal family? And of the amount paid to the royal family by the taxpayers, what percentage of their tax money paid for the Frogmore Cottage renovations? The £1 million dollar driveway improvement at Kensington Palace? The % to renovate both homes for William and Kate? The % to renovate the homes for all of the other royal family members? From what I have seen it seems like such an extremely small amount considering what the taxpayers receive because of the revenue the royal family brings into the economy through tourism and other sales. I am trying to understand the outrage, because as a person who, as I said, pays thousands in taxes annually, I don’t completely see how having the royals to boost the economy is a bad thing.
