The reload time isn’t a problem with these, considering they have a munition loadout nicknamed the “Grid Square Removal System” A dozen rockets loaded with cluster munitions that, if fired in the right target pattern, can cover a square kilometer in lethal frag.

I was in ammo section for only a month then I was put in as launcher driver at pv2. Never went back to an ammo section... 🙌

Launchers have to be highly reliable and durable for extended use. Sometimes relative simplicity will allow for easy maintenance and training and less reliance on sophisticated mechanicals and procedures on the battlefield.

The burst fire is dramatic, but they are painfully slow to reload. So like with everything there is a trade off.

I find russian way more convenient, they don’t need to change sections, they just need to fit new rockets, if the squad has 1 rocket left, they can just reload it themselves, 3-5 pips and it’s done. While here you need the army to reload... :(

They fire in volleys if it is at tanks. They can also fire one pod at a time. With tactics there is no problem.

Best Part about this Vehicle? It got lots and lots of Storage room for Beer and Cigarettes so the Crew can hold out for Weeks. Trust me

Some civilian trucks equipped crane. If their crane can left the rocket box,maybe they can also reload M270.
