People take inspirations from many cultures so who knows. It could be true. I often see Indian cultural symbols in stuffs like magic, ancient, relics, etc that are used in stories. I saw some Indian symbols on Emil's magical shields too.
I was curious and check this: From audio we know that when Angelus, Caim and Mother Beast emerged to Tokio on the 12th, on Thursday. And from Project Gestalt Report from Nier Automata we know that happened in 2003. Only month when we had 12th Thursday in 2003 is June. So, yeah, that was pretty good start for summer :)
You can hear the bells in a mix of Kainé's theme in the final boss of the last FFXIV NieR Raid. Honestly that entire raid series is a loveletter to the Drakengard and Nier fans!
I think that Grimoire at the begining of "Nier" was a Pact Beast at the service of God. The power to save his daughter/sister, in return of giving in fully into God's divine order. Gestalt Nier looked too much like an angel for it to be a coincidence. I think once humanity was restored, they would have turned everyone into White disease soldiers.
not exactly but some is true, the Grimoire Noir clone was humanity's creation by technology, however, it separates soul from body by emulating a pact (based on Angelus? dragons aren't creations of God) White Chlorination Syndrome is caused by infected maso (magic particles) from the Queen Beast which are supposedly gone from the World before Replicant's events
Project gestalt is based on the pact between dead Angelus and humans. So you're not far off. only because Angelus is dead no soul get's exchanged, only taken from the human body.
What if we have been looking at the timeline all wrong ? For example, what if there are actually two Cathedral Cities (although the city is said to be on the Iberian Peninsula, in the original game, it's located outside the map, beyond clouds) because the timeline is actually this: -Drakengard 3 (routes C and E); -Tokyo, 2003; -Drakengard 1; -Nier; -Nier Automata. What if Brother One and his cult were the ones who came up with project Gestalt ? What if he's the reason the Gestalts became violent before the Shadowlord was thought of ? What if the Seeds are actually Emil's clones, that are harvested by the androids to be turned into angels/Watchers, with those who disobey being twisted into dragonhood ? What if the elves are actually of the same stuff Adam and Eve are made of ? Machines in android form. What if that's why he was exiled from the church ? Because his red eyes were too similar to that of androids, meaning he could turn humans into bloodthirsty creatures too, the same way androids were ?
Question 1: No, they weren’t. Everything from Drakengard happens in a different timeline from NieR. Question 2: Gestalts became berserk because they couldn’t handle the process and because their replicants gained sentience (it’s part sabotage from an unknown party) Question 3: The seeds of destruction are of unknown origin and little to nothing it’s unknown about them and, other than what we see them do in drakengard, they’ve also been seen work as some sort of interdimensional travel device in the FFXIVxNieR Automata crossover. Question 4: Not sure, wouldn’t know, but the great cataclysm brought many things to the Iberian peninsula alongside dragons so my personal guess is that one of those things they pulled from different timelines were the magical creatures. Question 5: There’s no reason to believe humanity is still alive because they would’ve died from WCS, and the world guides do confirm humanity did die off. Question 6: No. going by your timeline placement it’s already wrong because Drakengard and NieR are confirmed to be in different timelines and the events from Drakengard have confirmed dates around the year 1000A.D. It’s been said that Drakengard 1s original was to have Midgard as Earth thousands of years into the future however this was retconned with Drakengard 3 when the franchise turned sci-fi .
@@gama103 did you look at the world chronological timeline for Drakengard/Nier? The theories he's making wouldn't be so far fetched based around that alone.
