How The Rumored B&M Wing Coaster Helps Kings Dominion 

My first and only visit to Kings Dominion was shortly after Tumbili opened. I’ve gotta say that I was pretty impressed with the overall theming of that area. Pantheon was definitely a standout coaster of my trip to Virginia but definitely not as well themed. The B&M wing would probably make a really great addition to the park. Maybe not the most exciting for enthusiasts but we have I305 for that. And I’ll say that the color is going to be a dark green, similar to Time Traveler or Helix. And gotta say that it seems like you put a lot more effort into the editing of this video. E for effort my friend. It turned out really well.

With Intimidator 305 being too intense for many people, the park definitely needs a reliable, high capacity, re-rideable coaster. So solid choice for them.

I think you’re not giving them enough credit. Cmon… e for effort? The Jungle X overhaul was nothing short of amazing and now they’re adding a B&M LAUNCHED WING COASTER on the same scale as thunderbird if not bigger. This is huge. they are not only adding a ride that will undoubtedly be the 3rd best in the park, on top of what is arguably the best 1, 2 punch in the America, but a huge gp pleaser that is sure to boost attendance… if you ask me, the coaster they add after this will turn KD into a destination park.

I like the decision. I love i305. But, can only ride it 2 or 3 times a visit. Volcano - I could that ride forever! I think this new ride will be white with colorful bird themed trains. The riders will feel like birds flying in and out the jungle rainforest clouds. Proper theming, a theatrical start in the tunnel, fantastic foliage would make this coaster an experience! Especially for a regional park. Busch Gardens completely failed on that with Pantheon. Which is surprising because they had over 18 EXTRA months to get it right.

I think kings dominion need the wing coster, a single rail coaster, redo anaconda, redo berserker (new seats, n make it taller). They should also get a suspended coaster, like big bad wolf, to piss off busch gardens lol it has to be bad wolf level tho. If they wanna come back, get coasters busch gardens dont have, or costers not really found in north America (like a tilt coaster).

This is very good for KD, although a launched floater airtime machine would have checked the needed boxes most. Either >73 MPH or even more family style. I see the distinction between what's best for the park and for me though. While they could up the pace, putting in some of the best coasters in the world without the expected return is not something I'm going to complain about.

It's nice it's something different for Va but a wing coaster is not a good replacement for volcano IMO. However this is much better then the previous leaked wing coaster and if they retheme I 305 and backlot it would really pull the whole area together. I don't have a clue what they'll do with flight of fear unless aliens in the jungle they could make it work I'm sure. It needs a freshing up anyway. Now as for Busch and show stoppers pantheon is that and while Darkoaster is a family ride with the effects and those decent launches switch track I think it's a great fit for the younger kids/ future enthusiast's. I think they have done pretty well in recent years. With the retracking of Loch Ness and the proposed b&m family invert for their 50th year it's steps in the right direction I hate their using festhaus park for a coaster you won't be able to see from the midway but it's something. Now if they'd add some flat rides which the park desperately needs with the removal of mach tower and da Vinci's cradle then we'd really have something note worthy. I suspect that the wing will definitely be a bird theme and color I have no clue but I hope it's not the orange Yukon striker color in the rendering reptilian is already a baby diaper orange. I prefer KD to get an S&S Terrain Axis Coaster or a Gerstulaur Terrain Inverted Launch Coaster instead. Kings Dominion needs to get an S&S Terrain Axis coaster or a Gerstulaur Terrain Inverted Launch Coaster to bring back Volcano with a new detailed model mountain. I would rather scrap the entire B&M Wing project to revive Volcano converting it into a Gerstulaur Terrain Inverted Launch Coaster or scrap the entire B&M Wing Project to Revive Volcano with a new modeled volcanic mountain converting it into an S&S Terrain Axis Coaster. Coasters built by both S&S and Gerstulaur are affordable and they won't rip you off, burning your money like what Intamin did.

Sure if I had my way I’d put in an axis and put the wing in a different location.

It’ll be yellowish/tanish with a bird name
