It's like a chromatic harmonica, isn't it? The left hand provides the "air," and the right hand, when held closest to the body, is at the number 1 hole? And you change keys by moving the right hand vertically? It's crazy, I've never played a theremin, but I can just visualize right now how I'd try playing the Star Trek theme. I definitely have to get my hands on one. That's the best part about music, the experimentation. I remember when I was a kid, though, and first saw Jimmy Page using one, I thought he was manipulating amp feedback with a radio (I tried it, and it didn't work as well-haha!)
