We are the one who think we belong to this caste and all... But it's only our karm that decide our destiny.... There's nothing wrong to be chamar . I'm mean, for u to put up such a huge claim, there must be a viable reason to it. As per census, Hinduism started over 3000 BC ago, roughly stating that hinduism existed 3,000 years before Jesus was born. And not only that, there is no way hindus used the Afgan tribe's mythology to develop hinduism. If what u said was true, how was Aryabhatta and other rishi able to understand the planet movements ( Astrology) and calculate/ predict the future ( Cosmology)? You can only make a movie with the script of a short film, not a documentary. Shiva is not the only god in hinduism.

During the time when India was ruled by the British for 200 years countless amount of books , knowledge of the past and our history was burnt and destroyed by the British which is one of the reasons India does not have the same amount of knowledge as it originally had .

I find it funny that you say this😅. Because Computer science, Maths and a little bit physics was all I was interested in during my high school years. Studied the chapters in advance and practiced them with Excitement. But the best of the subjects I really disliked . I barely passed the other subjects in my 11th and 12th standard. So yeah, I guess it really has something to do with either my gene or my culture or both.

Recently lord shiva idol carbon dated to be 28000 years old was found in Nepal. Shiva is a hindu god, so hinduism is at least 28000 years old (and not just 4000 years old). Also since nepal was part of ancient India/bharat, so bharat/India, is at least 28000 years old.

We Hindus created the Vedas when people lived in caves. Ancient Indians did not feel the need to write down the knowledge they acquired. They used to listen to what the teacher said and remember everything. This is why Rikveda, the world's oldest book, is called 'Shruti' (hearing and remembering).

Mahabharata is the longest poem in the world and Bhagavad Gita is a small part of it but its Spiritualy packed. The context of the story is very important as well, the story of Kuru dynasty and how they are starting the war among the cousins for the throne etc.

yes hinduism was talking about multiverse from ancient times ..i remember a story which my grandma used to tell me she was uneducated but was well versed in our dharma and culture she told that once lord brahma was arrogant and tried to prank lord krishna and krishna was avatar of lord vishnu so to teach lord brahma a lesson that arrogance is not good he called brahma .when brahma arrived at gate of krishna's palace krishna asked which brahma are u ? and brahma was shocked that are there any other brahma besides me ? cuz 1 universe is made by 1 brahma only ... so krishna called all the other brahma from all the universes and lord brahma was shocked when he saw all the other brahma so his arrogance shattered .. there is another story of lord brahma and multiverse if u wanna know then tell me ..i read it in srimadbhagwatam(a sacred book in our dharma)

Growing up as Hindu and studying in Catholic school whole life and currently residing is islamic country. I am mesmerized by the immense knowledge that Hindu scriptures have. I know so many others defame hinduism by mixing cultural activities with books or scriptures itself but we as hindu know that even if it is there it doesn’t matter to us because the very first book itself have clearly and also many times in different books written that only facts can prove this wrong, which means it can be changed if proven wrong by science. Even every books have different explanation. Like for some Shiva is our consciousness while for some it is that Yogi who started Yoga. So it is sooo deep that those who are bought up in straight foundation where there is god and his creation, it will be difficult to understand and i can understand many hindus trying hard to explain in such a way that they understand and miss out so many things. For example worshipping idols and Brahman so on.Idols are not the God itself but the form of god and we human being are not able to understand god so we pray to idols or god manifestation. Example we talk about alien but it is true that if we see alien we would shit out pants or have a heart attack. Imagine seeing God. That is why lord Krishna described in Gita. Here lastly i am not defaming others religion i am happy that you choose your way and we choose our bcoz in the end we are told that there are different way to reach to god. Like how we pray idols, some pray some and so on.

Hey, I enjoyed your reaction more than the video itself. Since you seem genuinely interested, here is some info you may explore. Hinduism has many sects/school of philosophies. Three major ones are Vaishnavism (Vishnu is supreme god), Shaivism (Shiv is supreme God) and shaktivism (Goddess is the supreme God). Time has both linear and cyclical nature according to Hinduism. Keeping in mind the cyclical nature, when you are to explore origin of universe (or any metaphysical enquiry), you need to set a point of view. The video you watched where Visnu is giving rise to Brahma, is the vaishnav philosophy. Thats the point of view where origin starts with Vishnu. but since time is cyclical, it can very well start with Shiva or others. Also, there is some evidence that Hinduism in its current form is 4000 years old. But, to be fair, Hinduism is a term given to an umbrella of religions. Sanatan Dhama is more synonymous with today's majority Hindus. But please note, the oldest texts, Vedas, were originally just Verbal. generations would sing/recite them and pass on as knowledge until materials were invented to write. Only later when Ved Vyas (probably a mythological figure for westerens, but actually my ancestor), wrote them down after trimming down much of the quotes, probably 4k years ago (not sure). The stories they talk about are much older. There are other texts which are considered superior are in the following order -Vedas

Conflict between positive and negative thoughts is the root cause of many mental problems.. Bhagwat Gita is written in story form based on this.. The story tells of Krishna's advice to Arjuna (one of the 5 Pandavas) who is worried about not being able to kill his brothers during the Kurukshetra War. While reading Bhagavad Gita, imagine the Kurukshetra as your body, the Kurukshetra war as your mental conflicts, the Pandavas as 5 positive thoughts and the 100 Kauravas as negative thoughts.. As well, they had knowledge of different Mantra/s(pronounciation of a sequence of words of Sanskrit in a correct way which creates energy for a desired effect, even to manifest things). Current age is of Yantra(Mechanical devices), that is human beings rely on devices to make things happen. Those days it was well achieved through the Mantra/s - of course not available to everybody in those times, it was meant for a few people only.

hindu texts also hint on the primordial energy that everything in the universe is made of. there's a verse in the vedas that go 'i bow to you, who exist in everything in the form of energy'. there's also a term used in vedas called 'hiranya garbha' literally means golden womb. and the vedas say that the entire universe emerged out of this golden womb, which is very reminisent of the big bang

If you ever read a book called Ramayan (Ramcharitmanas), there is a incident written in it, in which Rama dropped his ring in the crack on the earth and he asked Hanuman to bring it. If you read that fully, they are talking about multiverse universe in it. It’s one of the main text of Sanatan Dharama. Also, that book was written originally around 10,000 years ago.

"Hinduism" is a name coined by westerners. It's actually Sanathana Dharma (the everlasting code of conduct). Within this there are many belief systems and each may prefer some deities over others. Even Atheists were accepted. You've begun a journey of expanding your mental horizons. The knowledge in Sanathana Dharma is very vast and would take several lifetimes to grasp even 10% of it's lessons, and yet you're onto a good start. Keep it up! Kalpa Vigraha is the oldest existing metal statue of Shiva. Carbon dating of the wooden box that contained the idol and organic deposits in crevices of the idol itself indicated that it was at least 28,450 years old.

There is a bronze idol of Lord Vishnu called 'Kalpa Vigraha' which is made up of mixture of many metals. That idol is around 50000 (yes 50 thousand) years old. In the textbooks we are taught about bronze age to be around 2k years old. So you can think on it. When there was nothing then there was Lord Vishnu sitting in the cosmic universe ocean. And when there will be nothing he will be there.

The fascinating things is that James Web in now confirming that Sanatan was right and universe is much more old than 13 billion years! Also, a line in Ramayana that says "Yug Sahastra Yojan par Bhanu" Bhanu is Sun 🌞! So we were given the distance of Sun way back. The scale of time is pretty accurate and recent developments have suggested that Sanatan Dharma is almost 1.7 million years old.

In the war of Mahabharata, they used nuclear weapons (brahmastra). It is summarised by the similarities of the aftermath of using both of them.. we have written documents of the results of using Brahmastra that is quite similar to the result of nuclear weapons.
