Yeah, the thing is though, the prisoners that were sent to Australia had primarily British and European ancestry and genetics. So they were inevitably going to build a modern western society. American prisoners couldn't build a 2 story building or invent the wheel, and I think we all know what kind of genetics we're talking about here.

I feel bad for homeless people who live in a car trying to get back on their feet from a disaster in their life. The same people I see every day cracked out on my way to work need an island directly in the known path of hurricane season storms because thats what every corner they live on looks like anyways
