I thought this was a spambot. But then I noticed it was an ad for Squarespace and I thought _"Waitaminute, that's a famous company well known for being an all-in-one platform for building a professional online presence. There's no way this is a spambot"_ And then I checked and sure enough it was a post by @NewWorldReview himself Silly me :P
You can schedule videos, they don't go live immediately when you upload lol.@@ElectricLockGaming Most channels that use editors will do this, let alone a lot of channels that don't for convenience. Lol
Morel has a promotion pending, due to Knuckle and Shoot potentially gaining a star for their contribution during the Chimera Ant arc. By that logic, Gon and Killua should also qualify.
@@Sergote12 if he dismantles/kills the phantom troupe then yes, if he recovers all kurta eyes... maybe, cause the selling of the eyes is illegal but he wants the eyes back as an act of humanity, not as an act that'd benefit humanity
Pariston is a Conflict Hunter, and his contributions to the world are creating giant problems for other hunters to struggle against and thereby improve themselves.
I like this idea but I think it would be more interesting if he was a calamity hunter or if he was hunting for something related or on the dark continent.
@@Sergote12 He actually needs the funds and benefits of a Star Hunter license at that time. So he applies for it. He doesn't need more, so he stop applying.
Pariston stealing achievements from other hunters makes perfect sense, considering in the Zodiac lore, the rat is the first to win the race by riding on the head of the ox. It makes you wonder if he took something from Mizaistom.
That feels too simple though. He could have made an achievement in politics. Come to think of it, nothing says the achievement has to be public, nor what constitutes a great achievement. Something that only he and Netero knew about might suffice. Heck, working with Beyond to set up the dark continent trip technically suffices. He pretty much maneuvered the entire world's governments into doing exactly what he wanted, AND got the association. Either of those probably qualify regardless of the mission's success.
@@animalia5554This is why I think that the one that gave Pariston the 2nd star was Ging. Ging needed the star but didn't want to do paperwork, Pariston needed someone to get a star, so they "cheated" the system: Pariston did the paperwork for Ging and got the 2nd star, Ging did his work and got his star without extra effort. Both sides won.
So we do not know what Pariston is hunting. But wait, what if he is hunting other hunters? Hunter X Hunter...? Boom, mind blown! Pariston IS the series.
@@suryanshbiswasThe wording of "heinous crimes" could be taken with relativity. Such as what one considers to be "heinous", even if a law about that act in particular has not be written, in human law. Pariston might be an actual rat that can shape shift that Netero took from the dark continent, which is why he molded the Zodiacs to appear as animal humans to cover any similarities that may appear naturally in him. Insane? Sure. Fun? Absolutely. But most importantly, possible.
I find very entertaining the theory that Pariston might be somewhat like a more skillful "Gilderoy Lockhart" type of guy in the HxH universe (charismatic individual who targets other hunters and gets credit for their achievements after he eliminates them). Of course I don't actually think it's valid, but well, speculating is always fun
People going missing doesn’t mean he killed them. Improper staffing for missions is probably the reason they’re missing, which we know he has power over
@11:44, caught me off guard and also... take it easy there potty mouth. But seriously, Pariston I believe earned all his Stars from being a great adversary to Netero and being able to outsmart most of the Hunter organisation.
My theory is that Pariston's achievement is in the fashion field : the largest collection of flamboyant set of suits😎 ✨✨✨✨would match Cutie Beauty's field as well ^^
Absolutely love this channel and your Grandline review! You honestly give me the hope or dream to try and make content like this someday so thanks for being a man in a room doing his best!
There aren't enough known Single Star Hunters to actually account for the known Two and Three Star Hunters. At least four of the 9 Double/Triple Star Hunter would have had to trained a current Two/Three Star Hunter. So, while "It's someone we haven't been introduced to" is an lack of answer usually: I think it would be an interesting development if, specifically, Mizaistom's Star Pupils were among the Hunters ones that went MIA recently. Just the possibility of dead Star Hunters has got to be hanging in the air too. Even the small slice of the world we see in the story: KIAs are way more common than just 6 a year, and if the Hunter License is valuable as a collector's piece: A Star Hunter's license is probably even more valuable. The Star Hunters themselves are probably also highly sought after collectibles... in the Tserriednich sense.
considering the character of netero i wouldn´t entirely dismiss the first by-law for pariston. the entire time pariston is "hunting" or in pursuit of something and as ging stated to the bean-man a good hunter leads his prey where he wants it without it noticing that it did what the hunter wanted it to do. and just because we as the audience never learn what pariston specialty is or seen him use nen and fight, doesn´t necessarily mean that he´s incapable of doing so or that the hunter association or just the chairman isn´t aware of pariston´s chosen field
why cant Botobai have trained Teradein neutral? Botobai looks old, and he most likely has enough Nen expirience to look way younger than he is, so I don't think it should be out of the question to think he trained Teradein like 70 years ago.
Have you ever noticed Mostly when we see Hisoka and illumi together on the screen illumi is in standing position and Hisoka in sitting position For Example: In the hunter Exam arc on zevil island when illumi killed a candidate In chairman election arc at the top of building when illumi told Hisoka about chimera ants and at the forest when illumi shows his blood Lust.
I agree Pariston is not overall a good person but I think that *he really deserves his 3 stars licence.* The fields of hunter specialization seem so vast it could be something as "helping hunter" (or something like that) which Pariston does helping Beyond to go to the Dark Continent. We could say he was doing a very good work to sabotage Netero's position for years prior to the Ant arc and leaded the president to his death. He worked for at least 3 years to get to this point, probably just helping Netero's son to undermine his father to have the right to go the Dark Continent. The 10+ hunter deaths were probably for the same reason... So, in that sense, Pariston has probably helped many other people to get what they want before Beyond. And we can say for sure he doesn't want anything for his own, just pure entertainment for himself and a challenge to take up. In that sense again, *Pariston is in fact one of the best hunter never existed,* without moral of course, but we know the Hunter's Association was never created with a sense of moral in the beginning.
I find your theories pretty convincing... Since I saw your video about Pariston being Sheila from the phantom troupe some pieces does match with each other. Her dream was to be a hunter while always reading twisted books on how to achieve it, this matches the treacherous demeanor and fake smile while also working under the shadows everything being a facade to his allegedly joyful and charismatic character. Just like Kurapika using his chains being the new zodiac rat, Pariston is the puppetmaster pulling the strings behind everything. Also this explains why the Phantom troupe always get information first hand from the Hunters association while getting jobs done by the spider that matches his schemes. Pretty nasty but interesting character.
Liam is a Three star hunter he has made many revultions for the hxh content field making the best hxh RU-vid channel currently and has mentored his wife in the field of content
Why isn’t Netero on the list of triple star hunters? Is there an even higher rank than triple star hunter or did Netero not meet some of the requirements for the rank?
So I have a question … Say the worst case scenario does happen and HxH can’t be finished by Togashi. Do you think someone else will pick up the mantle to finish off the series and get to the final scene that he has already laid out or will it just end without anymore chapters or anything??
Something to note: In the chinese zodiac the dragon and the dog are two signs who antagonise each other and get along the least, so I wouldn't be surprised if Parishton would create chaos by making both of them fight each other. After all he is a "chaos hunter".
My personal bet, Pariston is a "Caos Hunter". Humanity doesn't evolve in a perfect world, without adversity people become complacent. Netero probably think the same, since he put him as a vice chairman exactly because Pariston challenged him. And Pariston isn't causing caos indiscriminately, he challenge the best and only the best.
Also, as a minor though, what if Pariston is the responsible for the Hunter Association laws that we know today. Being who he is, pushing the limit of systems befit him. Even IRL people who are really good at braking the system usually end up helping to make the system better, like hackers and lockpicking lawyers :3 That could be how he got his stars.
I would argue that Pariston also violated (or at least attempted to violate) the rules of Article 3. It states that a Hunter's license can't be revoked for any reason, but Pariston suggested during the Chairman Election Arc to revoke the licenses of Hunters who abstained from voting or who cast invalid votes.
I recently started and finished hxh and I loved it I come from your one piece channel and when I realized this is a hxh channel I was hooked no one does op review vids in this quality. Keep it up!
My headcannon is that Pariston never fully developed his nen, hes just been flying by with just the basic and waiting for the perfect oportunity to finally use his nen
Maybe I'm missing something obvious here but 'Once a hunter is licensed, that license cannot be revoked for any reason' kinda makes the rest of the rules irrelevant?
the license can't be taken away from you, but a license doesn't necessarily bring with it the status that being a hunter does, as kurapika learned when he tried to get some blacklist jobs before he learned nen. similarly, someone who buys a license from a hunter pawning one off does not hold anything that the license might imply in the hands of the one it was issued to. basically a license holding hunter following the bylaws is doing so to maintain the acknowledgement of the association, and the benefits being recognized by the association gives them.
The first sentence means that once someone becomes a licensed hunter then he stays a licensed hunter, but if he somehow lost his license then he’s f’ked since he can’t get a new one. He’s still licensed, but loses all the benefits of it by losing the license
I think pariston may be THE ‘Hunter’ Hunter. Think about it like this, a Hunter must always be on a hunt. Rat spent his entire time in office acting in opposition of netero. He was hunting netero.
Feel like Ging should have had a mention, didnt Kite say that he qualified for a triple star easily but just couldnt be fucked to submit an application.
Honestly while it is difficult to guess exactly how, I believe that whatever Pariston’s officially recognized talents are have some capacity to improve the lives of others. It might be an indirect consequence of his activities but there’s gotta be something about him that is keeping him safe from a violent end by the association
It might be worth mentioning that it’s possible pariston is a “chaos” hunter, this is broad enough to ensure he doesn’t get bored while he is causing mischief and chaos. This would align with the rat motif of his zodiac. His star could then be anything from destabilizing a group or country, to causing/stopping an event, or even a large advancement in a field that completely turns everything on its head and changes the way people think. it doesn’t seem like he has any real reason for his actions other than entertainment and to watch others scramble from the fallout.
Pariston is a hunter hunter and the deaths have increased because he was finding and eliminating internal hunter threats. His demeanor and image are carefully crafted to make hunters not take him seriously as anything more than a politicking bureaucrat.
A little late the party, but I have to ask; where did you get that shirt. I spent over an hour looking around online and cant even find the picture, let a lone anywhere it was on sale.
What if Beyond Netero is Pariston's Nen master, the one who taught him Nen and, once his plans to kill his father developed, he sent him to his father to keep Isaac Netero busy while he waited for his main opponent, the Ant King, to be ready. As soon as the NGL & Chimera ants plan was prepared, Pariston carried out his mission, cornering Isaac to face the Ant King and die the way he always desired. This would finally give Beyond the freedom he seeks with the dark continent, and with Pariston merely viewing it as another game played and eagerly anticipating his next game.
I like to think that Pariston (sorry if I spelled that wrong) just cant decide what kind of hunter he wants to be so he's a "Hunter" Hunter. As in he's always trying different hunter jobs and just hasn't found the right fit. I know it doesn't fully fit his personality but it's something that at least make me giggle.
Hey, idea, what if Pariston’s ant army is on the black whale 1 and they plan on either seizing control of the colony by force once they land or using them to fend off the dark continent’s creatures until they can get whatever they are looking for.
Are we expressly told that these are the only triple star hunters (currently alive)? Or these just the only triple star hunters we've been told about? I could believe it either way, but I haven't read the manga myself. And given the fact that new characters as significant as Beyond Netero can pop up so far into the series without having been mentioned earlier, I wouldn't be surprised if there were other triple star hunters we just haven't been told about. Admittedly, you'd have expected any triple star hunters to have at least had their names mentioned during the election arc, but there's no guarantee.
Technically Pariston blocking that hunter from helping the quimera ant squad it's on Netero and his games with Pariston. He put him in the vice president position just to have obstacles to overcome.
The rat in chinese zodiac mythology had a story where the rat sat on the ox’s head to get to the island where god was choosing the zodiac. As soon as they landed the rat beat the ox and was first in the zodiac. So it is definitely likely that the writer put his personality as someone who steals achievements from others to get his star. Cunning is still a strength. Also it’s obvious that Pariston is hunting for the best sex tape in existence :)
Calling it now, Pariston is actually a Hunter Hunter. I'm not even trolling, it would be entirely within character for Netero to decide it counted as bettering humanity since it would be culling the weak and/or stupid, raising the quality of Hunters overall. Also giving him more good fights.
Unrelated question but is hxh coming back? Cuz togashi posted it on Twitter few months ago but we haven't heard anything about it since except him revealing /saying he's going to reveal hxh ending if he dies before finishing it
Great video but it does make me wonder who all could potentially deserve to either gain or lose a star license based on what we know of them. Like, has Kurapika done enough to deserve 1 star? We know Ging deserved a 3 star (he mentored Kite) but was was just lazy.
