And for taking all safety guards from the pulley wheels so viewers could see how dangerous this machinery could be if you accidentally fell against them.
They use polyphenylethanol to denature and neutralize color additives. The solvent renders colors to a neutral “clear” by destabilizing the properties that create color in plastics in the first place. You can either neutralize colors or you can leave them into their mixed state which ends up being a dark black or brown and the dark colors only end up rarely sold. Returning plastics to a clear, or white color makes them much easier to market and sell. Like this entirely made up bullshit comment.
where i used to work, had their own grinders, but it was only a certain plastic they would grind back up and reuse. in their bright wisdom of moving factories, they decided to scrap off the grinder. It saved them a fortune just reusing the same plastics again. But they decided on letting a company deal with it and get fines for mixed plastics.
Simple pulleys and bearings, don't require a lot of rpm if you have the flywheels sized appropriate. This is industrial age shit, a small amount of maintenance and grease. This is a case of don't make them like they used to, it's not the most efficient or safe that's why we've got giant factories with robots and computers and hoopla now but in my opinion they don't deal with breakdowns much and if they do it's a broken belt or something that gets fixed in minutes
The safety or lack there of is appalling ! These men & women work so hard and in such difficult situation and places. It's like seeing the poor and abused workers of the 19th century replayed . Doesn't anybody care about their safety ?
they are doing a job in a poorer country, they don't have time for first world problems like OSHA, hard work is still work, gotta do what you gotta do to put food on the table sometimes
Indeed it's amazing that machines still work after more than 6 or 7 decades. In rest is a mixt of videos uploaded so many times and a bullshit about recycling.
Bad editing giving misleading results in end products. The indiscriminate black plastics at the beginning cannot yield the clear plastic products they have at the end.
@@sivijuggernath the sequence of editing is meant mislead the average person that they are recycling all manner of unsorted plastics into a uniform end product. The title suggests the same.
Only an idiot would think that, we know black plastic will make black plastic pellets to be melted down molds of black plastic. The translucent plastic (white/clear) comes from translucent plastic that was separated from the black plastic😂 don’t have to be a genius to know that.
They are living in 1970.... Processes are way way too old and cannot survive with this process in today's market. In 21st century machines have been way way automatic and the same product can be made with very little effort. Though I was happy to see the old method of manufacturing.
it only makes sense to recycle plastic if it is done under these conditions, aka ultra cheap, because making new plastic is often a cheaper alternative.
Not sure why you 'WASP' types are making fun of these people, you'd find something similar in shit parts of North America or Europe.. At least these people have the initiative do it themselves without government funding/incentives.
@96Champ994 yes it is.. in places with no government funding... which these people don't have.. I think you make fun of them because you have am identity issue yourself...
It's a tossup s between this being Danger Island or Hooterville. I think this is the worst factory that I have ever seen, and I have worked in a few crappy ones but never in anything with those low standards of safety or general condition of the place. Hats off to the workers, I wonder if there is much labor turnover.
