More news has came out about what has been going on behind the scenes in J Cole's career and when you see what has been revealed, everything about him, Kendrick, and Drake will start to make sense...
Who would've thought that J Cole is actually fence-sitter, revisionist and gaslighter, hiding behind good rhyming schemes and pseudo-conscious themes...
He a grown man not 13 or even 20. He can say no, unless he is just easily manipulated. Im grown as hell you can’t just make me do something I don’t want to do, unless apart of me wanted to.
@@anaekeharry9570 I said what I said because there are plenty of people who say no to certain decisions in the industry and succeed and there are some that say yes. He said yes and regretted it. It is what it is.
Earthgang left Interscope, not Dreamville. They’re still part of the Dreamville roster and brand, but independent to release music when and with whoever they want
Why on earth with J. Cole be spiraling the man’s been living his peace for months. No, Kdot fans that are spiraling because they have to accept now that J. Cole did not pick Kendrick side.
@@user-rg4tp3qz2d nah c'mon Cole is being really contradictory. He's trying to make up this narrative five months later... It doesn't add up. If he was living his peace why did he drop this?! It doesn't make sense. It doesn't make Cole look good at all. In a number of ways. Even though he deleted it I got a kick out of JID saying what he said. I personally prefer JID to Cole and it's not remotely close at all.
There is a side of kendrick the public is not aware of and only people who know him personally have seen it, JID not respecting Dot is crazy in his last freestyle he said sum and we thought it was about drake but here's some new context
He doesn’t stand on his morals and is hypocritical and then when he gets called out for it he tries to hide behind his friends and labelmates saying they “talked him into it” like he’s not a grown ass man and the owner of the label. In laymen’s terms: you being good at rapping doesn’t mean shxt if you have not morals or integrity to stand on. If your lyrics are lies why would people want to listen to them even if they sound good.
Me watching Cole drop a lame ass diss and apologize 2 days later: "meh, whatever" Me watching Cole drop Port Antonio and attempt to gaslight everyone by pretending 7MD didn't exist and he would've won the battle if he wanted: "uh this is slightly upsetting, but I don't really care that much" Me hearing that Cole's label may be keeping JID from releasing new music: "wait wait WAIT HOW DARE THEY"
He never acted like 7MD never existed. Stop trying to gaslight. Port Antonio addresses 7MD and he NEVER said he would’ve won the battle. Y’all love to twist and hate. Also did you even watch the video?
It’s not a dodge for not responding to someone that’s not as good as you. He moves strategically and doesn’t have issues with people like that and called everyone out before and no one did anything. If he “dodged” it’d be bigger news than JUST YOU saying it
What’s really ironic is that Fantastic is always talking about how hip hop is entering a new era but is STILL talking about the same 3 people instead of actually talking about the new talent or projects that are coming out of this new era
Nah, I believe they were following the head. J Cole is the one with the problem with Kendrick. He put out 7 minute drill and hurried up and apologized before Kendrick could respond meanwhile leaving it on DSPs for whole week to make sure it counted toward his first week sales. He dissed Kendrick on the song with Ab Soul and Daylyt without them knowing. Been dissing Kendrick with Drake for years for no reason. He's a snake.
If he was dissing kendrick on pi and daylyt and ab soul didn't know, then how do you know? and when did he diss kendrick with drake? and how do you know anyone's reason for anything?
@@JustJ1444 oh so you think they cleared the song without hearing his verse at all? And anyways this isn’t true. It was originally their song, j cole was supposed to do the intro but then sent back his verse. Daylyt said this in an interview, so daylyt must have at the very least heard it
Still think there’s slight misinterpretation. He wasn’t claiming Drake and Kendrick were doing this for clout. Anything “bot” related was aimed at people like Akademiks and WTD. Other than that, Cole probably did kinda just make it worse for himself.
Commenters try not to be hypocrites level impossible. The only thing more constant than his coverage of the beef is y’all’s need to point it out every single time.
@@czar82ro uh…what are you talking about? I wasn’t really talking about hip hop or competition. I was talking about how comments complaining about this channel’s constant coverage of the beef are just as repetitive as the thing they are complaining about. Hip hop and competition have little to do with what I said. If this channel was a baking channel and they only baked brownies and the comments were constantly filled with people saying that they only make videos about brownies, then the main point of my comment would still stand. And here’s a free life tip, don’t confidently make assumptions. It almost always backfires.
I’ve always thought JID was the best lyricist on dreamville and that was including Cole. Love Cole but JID is nasty with it. Has was more dexterity with his bars
JID. JID is better than Cole. I'm sure I'm forgetting someone decent. But Dreamville is no where at the level of TDE and what Kendrick has started doing with his own label.
@@Spidido I guess I was reading it as saying JID is a B tier ARTIST. I can't agree with that. If we're talking about how famous he is, how successful he is, stuff like that... Sure B tier. But if the comment meant he's a B tier artist then I don't agree at all. I think JID is better than Cole. That's my personal preference but even if you prefer Cole... I think JID is A tier or higher as an artist. But yeah, it's not like he's huge FR
Cole probably hates on Kendrick when he's hanging with Drake, then hates on Drake when he's hanging with Kendrick...Cole is the little finger from Game of Thrones
Bro found money infinity glitch talkin bout those 3😂still like the content but I wish there was more vid about new album or news from others good underrated rapper like jpeg mafia Vince staples Larry june
Something about ppl who purposely dress sloppy and play it off as I'm humble don't sit right.. Dressing well is a sing of being raised right. One at least.
Cole just seems conflicted. Respectfully, JID would do better to have a distro or pub deal with PG Lang and be independent how much he’s made his own lane. Why wouldn’t Cole and Kendrick help that?
J.Cole has been conflicted his whole career, and I think that's the real underlying issue. He contradicts himself too often, and it's really starting to show.
@@ininyeusi4245I actually think that's the beauty in his craft and why so many people relate to him. We're all fighting a war of attrition; we just don't like accepting it, because it makes us look scattered, when at the end of the day, evolution is all about change, and change is consistent with conflict of the mind.
Honestly, I think the lyrics in Port Antonio back this information. Those looking for blood were members of Dreamville. He writes about being hungry for money cause his label does not support his success. Cole didn't get to make anything of this beef, so he now has to scramble to maintain riches. Checks out to me.
Kenny has been a class act so far. Best believe the moment he does something people don’t like, there’ll be videos about him. The difference is that Kendrick always talks about not being perfect. Drake himself thinks he’s perfect and j Cole is out here lecturing people about a beef he wasn’t really a part of. If Drake or Kendrick had dissed him the way they dissed each other, he wouldn’t be on his high horse rn. If you want some Kendrick criticism, you can make your own channel or you can watch What’s the Dirt
Always felt like J.Cole was a false profit. His “care” for the culture outside of the music always felt so forced and fabricated. His early music wasn’t like that then once he saw it worked he wore it tf out. Every song has something about injustice in it. Nothing wrong with that but the way he would speak about it was never artistic. He started to get repetitive and predictable.
And now with this new video we see that this channel is all about a beef that is over, and now with this comment I'm sure I'm saying what many others are saying, and now with this revelation I hope the narrator can talk about something other than beef, and now with this hope I want us all to have a blessed day and now with this I am done with these videos
All the guys in here speaking neg about FHH need a girlfriend quickly, I mean maybe she could take up more time for you to use.🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Keep up the great work FHH!!!
Bro this is the biggest k dot d rider maybe ever. Literally first he was against drake, then when j cole posts, he is happy, then remembers that he is a k dot glazer, and drops this video like wtf. K dot is the goat but this guy straight up makes the beef look ridiculous.
This is my honest opinion on this matter, especially addressing the line "i wouldn't have lost the battle, i would have lost a bro. I woukd jave gained a foe" J. Cole has been friends with Kendrick and Drake for years. Cole even introduced Kendrick to Dr. Dre and they have collaborated a lot in the past. Cole has even shouted out kendrick for being a top artist and saying how people give him (cole) the bronze all the time. After like that Cole did put out a mediocre diss record, but he was also told by Schoolboy Q that the beef with Kendrick and drake was personal. That was what made him decide to apologize. Even if people in his camp didn't like Kendrick, he still considers him a friend. There has NEVER been a diss record that we hold in high regard that has not been personal. Ether, Hit em Up, No Vaseline, etc. so the people who tried to criticize Cole for backing out saying it wasn't gonna be a personal battle were lying because we wouldn't hold those dissess to high up like the personal ones. I don't believe that he was just saying ue would out rap Kendrick, but more so saying that in order to win against Kendrick he would have to expose his personal life which he wasn't going to do. Thats why he would have gained a foe and why he followed it by saying he's no king if he has to dig up dirt to pay his whole team (expose kendrick to get people hyped thus ruining his friendship) but people don't want to view it in that regard because he still says he's the goat in his raps as well as because he apologized. Realize that he hasn't dissed drake at all and again he's choosing not to take sides. Someone ask for a verse, he sends it in and whatever happens happens. He's in between two of his friends fighting and whether he dropped a song or nor from the beginning of this beef people wouldnhave still poked fingers and made fun of him. They would have called him scared or said his disses were weak, and at the end of the day he would have lost his friend(s) so he's just trying to focus on the rapping.
Bro wtf earthgang did not leave the label they were already part of a collective and just made more music with their collective friends in spillage village!!!
People will disagree and It doesn’t excuse all the rest of his behavior. Even though Drake was tak8ng shots, from what I saw. It seemed like being talked about as the best rapper in the game. Not saying truth just by some of todays standard. I saw numerous times Drake saying he didn’t want it, but people interviewing him definitely gassed him up. In the beginning yes seemed like he was in his feelings for sure. I th8nk ultimately he didn’t wan5 it but because of his position even if in his own mind, he did it but wasn’t go8ng it alone, enter J Cole. People were definitely in renting space in his head on him to respond. I think he knew he had skeletons but ego won out and good life lesson for the kids lol…
The track is disingenuous and the choice to release it was as poorly conceived as his choice to withdraw his diss track. He wants to reimagine the beef ignoring that it wasn’t a beef until HE replied. Kendrick dropped a verse and he decided to escalate it. That’s what made Drake have to respond. If Cole had never got involved maybe it would have played out differently. So to now come with this nonsense….Cole should have stayed silent because the beef was over.
Now THIS makes more sense. J Cole seems haphazard and inconsistent in his actions, to me. Even if his label is imploding, J Cole is responsible for his words and his decisions.
Cole’s pen is a katana. It’s really that simple. Lyrically I appreciate him and Kendrick more. Cole has been at times sharper than Kendrick. The song is 🔥
In what I would call "grown man rap", the Bars and the wordplay are not enough anymore. Hip hop is already 50 years old. You need to say something that's critical for survival. Only rookies and B-list artists use technicality as a distraction to avoid delving deep in sometimes uncomfortable subject matters. That's a sign of People-pleasing behavior. When you are a veteran, rapping good is merely a prerequisite and not the main focus. You have to unapologetically stand for something and challenge your audience too.
@@kenfisounds1597 guess I’m old…out of touch because I listen the music for lyrics. It’s an art form fam. That use to have value. Artists I grew up listening to did everything possible to NOT sound like everyone to uphold the tenants of the culture. There’s rules to this ish
@@Ismail-cf6xu I agree with you. I just said on top of top tier lyricism, the substance gotta be there too to be qualified as a "grown MC" if you catch my drift. It's way easier to make a crazy multisyllable rhyme scheme than to go in-depth about a horrible divorce or suicide on a track, for example. Those are very uncomfortable subjects, but very important too.
