Hey guys! Hope you enjoyed the video. Skye is a really dominant agent right now, and NRG did a great job at showing her off. I mean...I don't necessarily think her powerlevel is one that is too OTP cause you can't really just play her anywhere. I mean when Kayo was picked more than her he remained untouched so I don't see why she would need nerfs since it seems the Initiator class is fairly balanced. Gekko may need a buff and if anything they could just buff Fade's prowler's a little bit if.

Skye is so prevalent rn bc of the double controller meta her util is perfect for gathering info and flashing the enemy outside of double controller she wouldn’t be used as much bc there are agents that can do her job better while allowing a more balanced team comp and with the coming viper nerf I wouldn’t be surprised if double controller meta is played differently

I mean Skye has easily the most overloaded kit of any agent, I'd be genuinely SHOCKED if a nerf or even rework isn't coming soon. She's an information machine, her flash, dog, and ult all give useful info, and on top of that she has a heal for some reason. It's a little absurd.

That's how she was designed though...she was inititally meant to be a back-up info gatheer to Sova then they reworked her to be more of a Flash-oriented initiator with the same budget info gathering. I think if anything, Fade and/or Gekko needs buffs more than she needs nerfs.

@@funkycrawler619 that's interesting because I feel like Fade and Gekko are actually in really good spots right now. They don't feel too oppressive singlehandedly but strong with their team, which to me is the ideal spot for an initiator. Skye feels really strong alone and nigh unstoppable when playing with a duo she can comm to. Just my experience tho

As Skye main, I disagree that she has the best heal of the game. Sage can heal from long distances, is almost instant (to use and to heal), it refreshes, is free. If you play a couple game as Sage or Skye, I assure you that you will use Sage´s heal a lot more and it will be more useful.

this is true, but technically speaking as skye you can heal multiple people to full health since its based on duration rather than the amount of health regenerated if that makes sense thats far more powerful imo

Sage overall will heal more points of health during a game and the fact that it can be done from long distances and you can pull your gun right after is huge. Skye is a initiator, she will be close and supporting the duelist. Her heal requires her to be close and without a gun on hands, and it takes longer. You can do that only when is safe and have time

I’ve found a lot of success on fracture recently playing like a lunatic. Not sure if this applies to all ranks, but if I notice a team ignore drop for a round or two, I just instant knife out to arcade and slow walk around when they hear me from box. Chances are they won’t hold you and gunfire will mask your footsteps when you’re close. You can knife out a little longer at the end if they def won’t hear you cuz of fade ult etc. regardless, even if you get about a 51-49% rate on that play, you win more than you lose and your first attempt will usually be successful if they don’t expect it.
