My friend literally went through hell due to his ( now) ex wife. She not only abort his first child but also sue the entire family under this act. He spent more than a month in prison and then secure bail. He fought the case legally and in the end was able to get freedom not only for himself but also for all the people mentioned in the case. His ex wife remarried but he is still trying to cope with the mental trauma.

@@dishwas_her1160 she withdrew 498a and dv from CAW itself and never had the guts to take me to court because i have the all types of evidence of me and my parents treating her lovingly now with nothing further to do (no support from police because i gave cops a lesson in law language which got them to drop the case and didn't file fir on me and my parents)she filed a maintenance case(crpc 125) in family court that went out of her hand as I submitted complete evidence and also her educational qualification and her previous professional work experience to the family court now court is only going to award the maintenance for my baby daughter and she's not going to get sh*t... please note from day 1 itself i didn't hire any lawyer because i tried getting the advice from 8 lawyers(from my city & district) and they all gave wrong advice I'm fighting my case as "Party in Present".

I have seen a similar case with my dear friend in the past & hearing about 1 now in a family I know. As Nijo rightly said such fake cases grossly undermine genuine victims of domestic violence. There should be a heafty penal action for such fake cases.

Although it's just a video but still Watching such incidents, and seeing people facing such troubles, my faith in not marrying and being single till my whole life gets stronger and stronger. I have faced cheating in a relationship of 5 years and I've been single since that incident. So I don't know what's the guarantee that if I marry, my wife doesn't do the same. I'm a woman and I strictly condemn this kind of dirty things a woman does for money.. marriage is union of souls. marriage is a relationship where both the partners must contribute together in every possible way.. even in mutual divorce cases, they should end the relationship respectfully... without bringing money matters into it. I have a brother.. I can't even imagine what my family will go through if something like this happens to him.... A man and a Woman are two entities of Nature...with their own limitations and advantages.. in today's era, most of the things can be done by both of them.... and the things which one can't do.. the other must complement... and this applies in all relationships.. I wish human beings can pause to. think from the other persons perspective as well . the society would be such a nicer place to be , that way
