She was so incredibly lucky, *12 times* and hit NO vital spots. That and her fighting spirit is the reason where she is where she is today. I'm proud of her.
It’s not about luck but her time didn’t come. “When their specified time arrives, they cannot delay it for a single hour nor can they bring it forward.” (Quran, 16:61)
@@Mindfreedom8 hahaha what her mom and dad? Cause who says she's even religious and who knows what gods the real one and that's even if God is real haha don't discount a person's will to live especially a parent thinking about their kids!
12 times... If anyone should be a spokesperson for gun violence, it's her. She's definitely a strong person. Her cause, solution, attitude. Should be the model in which we follow. Blessings to her.
Anyone with half a brain can 3 d print them now and ammo isn't that hard to make really anyone should be a spokesperson for failed parenting and a screwed up culture it should be this woman ...
@Truth Hurtz kinda what I was thinking. How do you get shot 12 times and survive? Just one shot to the leg in the right spot can kill you from blood loss. From the picture it looks like she was shot in both arms, her chest, her stomach, and maybe her legs. They must be leaving something out of the story
Here we can see multiple schizophrenics in their natural environment interacting with one another. The species is so intriguing, and nature is so beautiful.
@@gl3936 to her it was. Her survival was necessary for her because of HER kids. Stop projecting a dislike of children on a situation where her children helped her survive and not give up
This happened at my former place of work. Thankfully my son was born 4 weeks early or I would have been walking into the building 9 months pregnant. Whitney is amazing!
This must have been so damn devastating to see and imagine what could have been with you only four weeks postpartum. I can’t imagine the amount of tears you cried and how hard you held your little one.
I don’t even know you but I’m a fellow momma who’s pregnant right now with my third and the thought of you walking in there that morning pregnant tummy in tow made me feel sick. I’m so happy you’re okay. I’m so thankful you weren’t there. Ugh. Just horrific. I’m sorry this even happened.
These days I don’t even walk around without looking all ways. Don’t even feel comfortable going into a store. With all of these shootings anywhere and everywhere.
I cannot believe she was able to survive 12 bullet wounds! She's so lucky to still be alive! How scary that must have been! A mother's instinct is very powerful. She had to live for her children's sake. And so, she did. Heaven bless this strong woman.🙏💐
Wow she’s lucky they got to her within minutes! I can’t imagine the poor children who were shot and had to bleed out and die because authorities didn’t get to them in hours in uvalde.
Proud of her for staying strong normally even if it wasn’t vital organs being shot you can still die from bleeding out and she was smart not to panic because that would just make things worse not much people know how to assess a situation and stay calm she’s a strong mother knowing what she’s living and fighting for god bless her and her family P.s prayers to the fallen people who died that day my prayers go out to them and their family’s
Strong is not even the word wow amazing God was with her that day she is covered, may God bless her and her children and family. She is here for a real reason.
What fool has the first thought when finding out his wife has been shot multiple times is to make a Facebook post??? This is what's wrong with society!!
Exactly. A few weeks back a colleague in my industry passed away and within minutes all these people were posting about it on IG. Meanwhile I'm thinking about this man's widow and how devastated she must feel. Posting about a tragedy on social media is disrespectful to victims and their families.
What this man said posting on Facebook asking for prayers,That would be the last thing on my mind. I'd be rushing to get where ever to be there with my wife.
Man the 1 minute response time is incredible!! I know it felt longer to everyone involved but that's quick! She's a warrior and someone was definitely looking out for this woman. This woman WALKED out she is amazing
I can’t imagine both the physical and emotional trauma from this. I’m super happy she survived. Also I can’t imagine how her husband was feeling during this ordeal.
I don't know why people think this is only a problem in America it's not. You don't hear about other countries because people don't cover other countries like they do America. Africa has mass shootings way worse than we do.
@@empath9814 THey dont, the usa has more mass shootings proportianally than every other country in the world. THe average african dont own a gun, americans on average own several per household. Again more guns than any other country in the world. Mass shootings is a problem only usa deals with.
@@empath9814 China and india is poor and has more people than usa, yet still have a fraction of mass killings of america, how can you be a first world country with the worst rate of mass killings in the world, worse than than the poorest nations in the world, its embarresing and the whole world is seeing it. Im from denmark and at this point i dont even feel bad for you people, you deserve it by not doing anything
@@empath9814 Africa can’t be compared to the American government when we talk about gun violence because one their government is incredibly different, and two they have armed militias across the entire continent kinda like the Taliban and Afghanistan. America does have a mass shooting issue and both sides agree with that as in democrats and Republican they both agree AMERICA has a mass shooting issue (some advocate for more armed security, and some advocate for less use of guns in general)
In one of the batman films, Michael Caine once said: "Some men just want to watch the world burn." That sentiment stays true to this day. Some people do not have a sense of morality.
I gotta say that u should nvr stop praying... if money does much, prayer DOES everything. Faith n prayer; behold the two weapons, and our support. Like her, u have to have courage of yer FAITH n of yer convictions. It is for the evil one to tremble before the gud ones n not the gud to tremble before the evil ones.
@@m00nl1ghtba3 WTF is wrong with you… what video was you watching he got emotional and has the tissue in his hand! Who made you judge of how he deals with what happened to his wife??! Who made you judge of how he had to tell their children their mother has been shot 12 times and might die!!!! What makes you think everyone is the same dealing with traumatising situations smfh
“She was still gorgeous” like omg that’s so sweet, I couldn’t imagine being shot so many time and not knowing if I’d see my baby again. She’s the true definition of a mother! Stayed alive for her babies and made it through
The first time I decided to educate myself on gun violence I was 17 years old. I remember waking up to the Michael Brown shooting, for some reason it broke my heart & it made me cry speaking about it with my mom that morning. I think it affected me so much because he was 1 year older than me. Only 18, getting ready to graduate & see the world. At the time I thought about his mother, his siblings, & what could have been. I understand Brown was caught shoplifting from a convenience store but even I at 17 years old knew better. People don't deserve to get shot over materialistic things. Gun safety & following proper gun handling is key. You should never want to shoot someone unless your life is TRULY in danger.
Indiana mass shooter dropped by 22 year old kid with a hand gun at 40 yards saving dozens of lives. 8 of 10 bullets struck the shooter. Mass shooter in Texas went into a church. A member of the congregation dropped his ass as soon as he saw the gun come up. Stay armed America. A bullet is still far faster than 911.
Thank you to the officers tor taking down the madman an saving this woman's life. She is such an inspiring person. Thank you for having the strength and fortitude to help communities in such a positive way. It helps having the Love and Support of your family, in getting through this. Stay Strong, Be Safe and Be Blessed.
Whitney Strong is a real life Wonder Woman! She's SO focused, clear and calm. She's the perfect woman for this job, and her charity has a divine purpose for life saving education. Kudos to Whitney's husband and family too, for their stalwart support of, and faith in Whitney. Amazing story! 👏 ❤👏❤👏❤
You never think it will happen to you but this hit so close to home. I grew up in the Cincy area. Worked downtown at a bank. So scary you can't even go grocery shopping without worry.
@Ginbunny yeah, I'd be praying to God myself instantly and the whole way there to get to her. But not stop to make a post before I leave to get to her! 👀
My gosh. Shot 12 times, and walked herself with the help of the officer to safety. Thats some crazy super mama strength. Its amazing how our bodies immediately go into survival mide with adrenaline, and pain isn't felt right away.
Husband is sketchy to me…idk, to each it’s own I guess but if my wife get shot like that, the LAST thing I’m doing is thinking about making a post on social media. Damn I want to hug her, I feel so bad for her. God bless her.
well if youre religious & believe in the power of prayer than it would seem pretty reasonable- its not like he spent time writing out a long post or even explaining what happened to her at all. the post was literally "stop right now & pray for my wife". thats it.
I too survived from a mass shooter. Though I was not shot and would never equate our experiences...it messed with me mentally! You were meant to be here...so you can be a voice for those ignored!
She is amazing!!!!!What she has experienced and what she took from it is astounding. What she is giving back to all of us as a result of her experience is priceless.
Her will to live didn't keep her alive. Not suffering damage incompatible with life (despite being hit 12 times) kept her alive. Lots of people get murdered despite having a strong will to live. No doubt the four in this very incident who didn't make it had a strong will to live but they suffered damage rendering their bodies incapable of sustaining life, and so they died. Whether a person lives or dies is entirely down to whether or not they sustain damage incompatible with life. Whether they have a strong "will to survive" or not has absolutely nothing to do with it, and the contrary belief is basically superstition.
Have you ever healed from critical injuries or illness? I have, and before then I was always extremely logical and attributed healing and medical miracles to medical professionals. But some of it, without a doubt, is about your own willpower. Especially when it comes to the long, painful path of healing. When you give up your body follows.
whitney is so strong and i hope everyone remembers her for her work to create a difference for something she cares about that helps other people to learn and be safe 💖
Maybe because she doesn't blame the situation on the gun only. She actually does some important work. She's not just one of those "advocates" for gun control when the truth is those laws don't help solve anything but keep law abiding people from owning a gun. She actually wants to get to the root cause.
Wondering the same. My only guess is that they represent her ordeal? 12 guns for 12 gunshot wounds? Who knows... Curious choice of "art", that's for sure.
I love how she took a nasty mess and turned it into a message. Whitney, I love u and I'm so proud of u for pushing forward! Continue to stay encouraged!
“This has to be a mass shooting because this is what happens in America.” It makes me very sad and angry that this is one of her initial thoughts and her rationalizing the situation. It’s amazing that not one of those 12 bullets hit a major organ! She was put on this earth for a reason. ❤
You have a guardian angel! You were meant to live to do what you’re doing today. We all have a purpose on earth, and this is yours! May the lord continue blessing you and your family always!
What a miracle. So glad she made it thru. Especially to still be here for her kids. And she is definitely paying it forward. Considering how bad mass shootings has gotten. Educating people on gun violence and what to do if we're ever caught in this situations. God bless.
What a sad world, when this is a second thought … what a remarkably brave woman. Thank goodness her kids still have their mom- they need her 😢❤Her response to her experience is to pay it forward- I love her attitude and massively admire her resilience 🌈❤️Whitney, makes so much sense- I don’t doubt for a minute that she has and will continue to, make a positive difference with her life - thank you 🙏
