This is the story of The Spider-Man aka Aaron Aikman, an version of Spider-Man from an alternate dimension in the Edge of Spider-Verse Marvel Comics! #shorts #marvel #spiderman
He's basic 😂 as Peter would say. Probably similar to why The OG also beats the green goblin despite advantages. Cool story here though, especially when many variants can be Boring and derivative outside a race lift or gender bender.
@@swaglevi4315 Remember the time when your third "web shooter" activated right at the moment when MJ thoutshed your leg. It was me, Peter. I push the button.
Tbh morlun only worked when he was first introduced and every time after has been diminishing returns until spider verse explained everything about him, making him boring
morlun be like: "none of y'all getting a happy ending. death for every spider man! misery and despair to those who live!" like bro can't even catch a W no more. as soon as any spidey's get a W something comes up that either snatches, or dishes out an L so bad the W is rendered meaningless
especially when there is literally a villain based on the tarantula hawk wasp that does the same thing as them but is still lower on the food chain, She's called Shathra ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lQ43T13B7Jg.html
So true I hope there’s an actual series of this character and they didn’t just end up ending his story because morlun just goes around killing actual interesting spider men
Do you think that only 1.2% of the US is capable of getting their PHD? Or do you believe we have a lot of Rich powerful insecure idiots in charge? We don't have authors anymore, we have screenwriters, telling me the same stories they heard as children. As an adult you realize there is no solution, outside letting a company die so something greater can replace it, in about 20 years all this will be over and we'll be on the next thing.
Didn't know who this "Morlun" dude was so I searched him up. He's basically just a dude that goes around different universes killing and stealing the powers of spider-people...Why specifically spider-people? No idea but yeah basically a leech that only wants to eat Spider-man(s).
He's basically a Vampire that feeds on Lifeforce and Totemistic warriors (Spider-People and other similarly powered beings) are something his kind the Inheritors crave because they are pure and powerful.
Because it’s prophesied that a spider totem will end them. Also their matriarch died fighting the master weaver who is one of the totems of the spider people.
@@thebigvega4415 Paul is just a flash in the pan. Like one more day or tombstone putting Spidey in chains and making him beg. Morlun literally hunts ONLY Spiderman throughout the multiverse. Paul is a one note inconvenience. Morlun is the eternal Op
Dont worry guys, he comes back to life. In the events of spiderverse, morlun dies. And every spiderman he ever killed comes back to life (millions btw)
Seeing Morlun in any alternate spiderman story where he basically just kills them and dips is so annoying. Just let me see this spidermans full story I do not care about Morlun
I kinda respect this version of Spider-Man, he went out of his way to be a hero, and like Batman he had the resources and time to do so Holy crap I did not know it got this many likes, thank you so much
@@chrissixtytwixeh wait maybe a year or two (maybe more) and we’ll get a writer who does something awesome like Dan slott and superior spiderman. Until then I’m with you bro zeb wells sucks ass
@@leoultimaupgraded9914 we don't see if Morlin was sucessful or not, after all he defeated the Spideran from the Marvel vs Capcom Universe and somehow he was still alive by the fourth game.
Killing the assassin spiderman was the biggest L, that character was so cool and it was crazy to see a spiderman as someone not afraid to take a life to save others
I always hated the Spider Verse! Introduced new variant then writers killed them off with the Inheritors. I wish they left Morlun as a standalone antagonist that stays dead and not make him a Multiverse threat with his family. That's why the movie picked the Spot over the Inheritors.
Nah, Morlum is capable of defeating the fantastic four and the avengers to get to Spidey. And is a natural counter to the powers of an spider totem guy.
@@mytotim8978 ima have to look that up cuz there’s no way he would beat Thor or Hulk lol hell even the Thing or Invisible Woman. Really pretty much most of FF, Mr Fantastic would get shredded but the rest would legit ruin Morlun.
@@TensionSlap Don't bother wasting your time, brother. Writers depower characters all the time just to make a villain look menacing than what they really are. There's a good chance that there's a comic issue somewhere where the FF and Avengers got destroyed by this guy, and another where he's a joke.
@@mykealberttayoto7331 There are no comics where Morlun is a joke. He's only been defeated ONCE, by the the main Spider-Man from 616, and not very easily at that.
Especially when he continuously self sabotages himself due to him not believing he deserves to have success, or when the writers do it to him to go back to classic Spider-Man stories because they (and a lot of fans) believe that Peter being down on his luck and self sabotaging himself is relatable. It’s the unfortunate situation of being a flagship character.
It’s so strange how they gave us this in one edge of spiderverse comic to then kill him off in the same one. I think this is the only one they do it too aswell.
All those spiderman killed by morluin and then boom spider dragger used to kill morluin and every spiderman is alive like wtf how does it work wasn’t many spiderman killed by other inheritors? Why not kill the baby inheritors and get more spiderman back before some evil villian reminds them of their past when they grow up?
It was specific to the Spider-Men/Spider-Women Morlun killed. If his other family members (especially Solus) got stabbed by the dagger, then all of the people they killed would’ve been revived too.
I wonder if the Spiders that were revived by Morlun's death like this one just go back to the moment before they died or come to months later like they had been in a coma?
If it was later and not instantaneous, his world was basically doomed. The dream creatures that toom over Kaori's daughter's body had already converted too many other victims to be just like kaori's daughter. If it was more than a month afyer he "died" the world would have been taken over already
Basically he’s iron man, or like the Parker from the MCU except the suit doesn’t enhance his abilities it just as a lot more stuff… including nanotech. Speaking of which: Tony mustta either gave him a prototype nanoshell (which I doubt bc Peter was HIS SON in a sense, be the dad his wasn’t; so he’d never do that to Peter. I mean Tony solved / discovered time travel (unless you count Kang) to bring him back)… or Tony mustta had nanotech in the works since that suit was at the end of SM:HC (SPDRMN:HC). Which means he either figured it out between Civil War and Homecoming or had it in the works beforehand. I’m thinking between CA:CW (CPTAMA:CVLWR) even tho that’d mean he got it done FAST. My reasoning is bc it wudda been the only feasible option aside from Igor/Hulkbuster to beat Cap CQC and any enhanced individuals at LRC/CQB/CRC. I think Tony invented it too not JUST for himself but for Peter bc he knew it’s be the only way to Lee him safe doing what he was doing. ESP with the rise of enhanced people. But hey, I cud be wrong. Like completely…
More like 80s Japanese Sentai, the hair and the suit as a whole. Plus it's not really that bad of a copy of they exist under the same comic company banner
All that high-tech stuff and he died to the 🧛🏻♂️ looking guy with no special abilities? Morlun is tough and has stamina but I feel like this Spidey should have a way to put him down
No special abilities?! Lmao yeah we can tell you’re just commenting on a video about a subject you know NOTHING about 😂 atleast do some research first. Because he DEF has some CRAZY abilities 😭🤦🏽♂️
If It's not grafted into the body and is visible on the body it's not cybernetic cyborgs have robot body parts visible from the outside of their body bionic body parts are not visible from the outside but they are still robotic body parts 😊
I don’t think anyone’s even thinking that deep into it. Or really care too much to. The videos about spiderman not robots bro lol robot terminology isn’t really priority.
I fully Agree any Spiderman Can Kill Them not to mention A Full Multiverse of Spiderman Our normal spiderman has soloed Juggernaut and Hulk he always Holds back. Imagine how Powerful They all are! And these stupid vampires want to eat them and all they can do is run and hide and do anything other than kill them??? Only plot is saving them Nothing else
@@coolash4437yeah, taking in consideration if spider man used his true strength when fighting villains, he could literally beat up all of them within a day or two
@@coolash4437 "any Spiderman Can Kill Them" Did you read the comics? Spidermans is literally just they meal. They cant kill them, vampires are strongers than spider totems so much, they are almost absolute helpless. They can fight back only if its 10+ spiderman vs 1 vampire. Only spider mans who can fight them 1vs1 is Peter with uni power (only in his home universe) and 616 spiderman, he's a prodigy, who way more stronger and faster than others, and even he fighted with Morlun more than 24 hours before he ended him. Oh, and Scarlet Spider and Superior Spider-man, because one is a clone of 616 Peter and other have his body
@@coolash4437 ”Any Spider-Man can kill them” Nah, if you read the first fight with Peter and Morlun and the entire Spider-Verse storyline. You’d know that isn’t true. None of them, except Captain Universe, can kill the Inheritors. Peter literally went all out on Morlun and he shrugged off everything Peter threw at him and gave him the most brutal beat down of his life. And the only reason Morlun was killed, was because of The Other.
I feel like Morlun is the lamest villain because it feels so lazy. I would understand if it was an OP green goblin or something whom managed to kill Spider-Man but nah it has to be a Thanos wannabe.
@@wallsterrence What is there to explain? Normally when we discuss an antagonist, they often give the protagonist a difficult time. But the protagonist is very likely to defeat the protagonist time and time again. Morlun has killed Peter numerous times, to the point numerous is practically an understatement alone. The only Spidey to stand a chance was 616 Pete. Even then it hardly counts.
Look I didn't even bother watching this video for one reason here's the truth the matter at some point when they modify Spider-Man just to come up with another comic book or movie and then they do it again and again and again anyone can do it here's one where Spider-Man is Iron Man interestingly enough they already did that in the movie so how about I come up with a better one just for our amusement you've heard of Paper Mario I present to you my new idea paper Spider-Man meaning his webs are paper his existence is paper buildings are made out of cardboard you know like Paper Mario are that time that Batman and Robin the Green Hornet and Kato got stuck through a stamp Presser and we're sent to commissioner Gordon's office slid their paper bodies under the door that's the first time I ever seen a grown man cry the commissioner started bawling and he said straight up they've killed him then he screamed for chief O'Hara he didn't say chief he said O'Hara their dead then the Chiefs starts crying don't worry everybody there was a cliffhanger to it always is don't remember how he got out of it though so you'll have to watch the episode how about straw that's genius imagine a universe where Spider-Man is that straw man from The Wizard of Oz but he's a spider version it's better than ripping off Iron Man and Blue Beetle over and over again I'm pretty sure that Blue Beetle is probably a rip off of Iron Man weather slightly cooler story plot because it's an alien piece of tech where is the Iron Man armors just something that Tony Stark made but it gets to a point where I get tired of all of this Morpheus is clearly Batman while we're talking about this Supergirl is clearly Miss Marvel and yeah I called her Miss Marvel not Captain Marvel there's a reason because that name does not belong to her I grew up for years seeing movies with Captain Marvel in it the Captain Marvel is Billy Batson and it makes absolutely every bit of sense that Captain Marvel says Shazam but it don't make much sense that shazam's name is Shazam and he says Shazam in order to change Captain Marvel is DC I don't know why they have to insist they have to have the name for Marvel just cuz the name Marvel is in it Marvel's in the title and that's the property Marvel but Captain Marvel's name was created by somebody working for DC Comics who was ripping off Marvel you know how they go back and forth ripping each other off constantly like I was saying before in Marvel we have Groot in DC we have that tree guy that was hanging out with poison ivy that's right they're both a tree guy poison ivy Gomorrah powers are different but they're just creating a green chick for ratings hence why they brought back a green chick on Star Trek for the first time like 8 years for lower decks in Marvel we have Fantastic Four in DC we have Teen Titans the list just goes on and on Deathstroke is clearly Deadpool meaning that the DC Comics created Deathstroke then Marvel ripped it off for Deadpool mind you the only reason I know this is cuz DC got him back this time and then ripped off Deadpool and created red tool and honestly the only reason they created Red Tools because they weren't willing to come up with some kind of arrangement so Harley Quinn could be in a Deadpool movie all existence of Red Tools just Harley Quinn's version of Deadpool batwoman's just a generic rip off a bat girl and Batgirls just a female Batman she has all the same equipment in her utility belt even Ant-Man has an alternative in DC I don't even remember what his name was but he was this really big Native American guy that could get his big or small as he wanted he had a very large headdress and was part of the Justice League he was one of the main members during the opening credits of the Justice League show I'm talking about and I honestly wonder where he went there really isn't all that many Native American superheroes so it's hard for me to know that all we get is place is Ant-Man Ant-Man needs a costume to change at least that other guy was able to use his powers I think his name was nuke or something but not spelled the way it smelled it here but with an E where the U is it was good in DC We've Got Talon who has knives that stick out of his hands and then Marvel has well Weapon X I think in some of these cases it's pretty obvious which was better Wolverine kicked DC's ass in this case though there are some great original characters in both series I can't wait for the other companies to start ripping them off and ruining it for us is guy like that guy Doctor Strange he's got that Alter Ego in DC to I think it all depends if that guy Spyro is DC I'm pretty sure there's no BS Howard the Duck in both DC and Marvel same name but the bird looks different and I think they have literally the same power of just being an obnoxious duck drinking a whiskey however I don't think DC Comics is ever released a movie of their Howard the Duck and that's probably because the first known Howard the Duck was Marvel I kind of think Marvel and DC should combine again I can't wait to see them turn the comic book DC versus Marvel Superheroes into a movie I want to see Wonder Woman pick up Thor's hammer then put it back down and informed Thor she wouldn't use it cuz that wouldn't be fair because that would give her an advantage which means she believed or without his hammer couldn't even fight her years later it turns out Wonder Woman Kind of is the female Thor you see because Wonder Woman is the daughter of Zeus god of lightning and Thor is son of Odin god of thunder at some point in the comic books they fought and it was from what I understand Epic Superman fought somebody to Batman might have been in it all I know for sure is that Superman and Wonder Woman could both pick up Thor's hammer Wonder Woman refused to use it cuz he didn't think he could fight her without it meanwhile Superman picked it up and beat the crap out of Thor with it I think they had Spider-Man fight Batman if I remember correctly it almost always showed one Universe win the one time then the next short story would be the other way and I'm not sure exactly how it went like the first comic in the comic book would be DC wins then the second it'd be Marvel wins and then the third would be DC wins in the 4th to be Marvel wins because they were trying to be friendly with each other and make it look like both of their superheroes had some chance cuz you know if this is just riding it they're going to make it so Batman kick Spider-Man's ass Superman kicks this guy's ass and all that probably the best scene in the Marvel movies is when it shows Ryan Reynolds signing the contract for the Green Lantern movie and then Deadpool shoots him in the back of the head and says you're welcome America does that Green Lantern movie was bad skin tight spandex or a pair of green sprayed blue jeans Anna green t-shirt would have looked better than that animated suit I understand they tried to animate it because it's supposed to come out of the ring because it's pure energy but here's the thing that's not really how it worked in the comic books I mean literally if it was I'll try to explain Jon Jones has his ring cut off at the end of the Ring so he has no powers but yet his costume does not revert to his under clothes that means that it is solid clothing and that's because the ring creates solid construx painting it should have only been digital until it turns solid meanwhile in another one has Batman rip his ring off his hand when he's not looking and his powers just disappear including the costume funny little joke in the cartoon but it doesn't make much sense that his costume disappeared just cuz you took his ring away when the other Green Lantern didn't have that effect and yes I get he creates his constructs but he definitely didn't create the suit Evergreen Lantern has that suit you see you have to follow the Canon of the story plot for instance according to the story plot of the Red Lantern Corps a red lantern member being relinquished of their ring means death that's how Supergirl died because Superman took her ring and it killed her there is a reason I mentioned this because of this there's actually a death scene in a Lego Batman movie a real death you see when the can closes sealing the Red Lantern Cat inside the door Slams on his tail and he drops his ring you and I both know what that means that cat in the box is dead just as dead as Supergirl was if you don't read the comic books or watch any of the other cartoons you will miss details I honestly don't think the animators realize that cat died instantly the second that his Lantern core ring fell from his tail he would die if you don't know the past of the story plot you shouldn't be writing its current story that's how when we're making a Spider-Man movie about a comic book about a kid that got bit by a spider and then made web shooters with some knowledge in his head that he got from the spider bite
Aaron Aikman: Honestly, one of the coolest concepts of Spider-Man to ever exist, and likely was a great Spider-Man to begin with. Morlun: Cool story lol
