Tip for newer Blender versions: While in object mode, press right click and Auto Shade Smooth on the mesh. That will give you sharp edges (See 5:19) that you can select and apply the crease (control + E) to. This is a lot more accurate than the technique I used for Auto Selecting by face angles!
Most slicers should have an auto repair option for that, at least mine does. But you can always try remeshing your model (with a remesh modifier) at a very high resolution. It’ll be laggy but worth it.
Very nicely explained. Can you do something similar with the characters from Lineage 2? I have been wondering how to print characters from this game for a very long time. I would be grateful if you could show me the right way to do this.
I'm going to be working on a character animation tutorial soon, so yeah! Will definitely include tips on how to make your animations look less robotic.
Yeahh sadly there isn’t really a conventional way to 3D print with colors. I bought my current 3D printer thinking that it could easily print multi-colored prints, but in reality it’s extremely expensive and leaves a lot of waste filament. Your best option is to paint it yourself.
Great video- will watch more now. I have subscribed and liked! you deserve it!. I plan on working on Total War Warhammer models for my own personal use- thank you!
