This is one of the better videos that i've seen on how to uber eats, I'm an older person that does it for a little extra gambling money, You gave very realistic and helpful information to drivers
I only used UE to deliver to me, and recently drove for 4 hours as a delivery driver. I am absolutely stunned at the low tips. I always left $10 as a base and $3 per entree when I ordered from a restaurant cluster that's 3.1 mile A from my home
I’ve only been driving for a few weeks and got a good understanding how the algorithm sends orders. This past week I purposely took a few low pay for miles orders. Each time the very next order was a high tip.
Oh lol not in Las Vegas I tried to accept a low pay order it took me 13 minutes to get that order afterwards Uber throw a lot of low pay order...I'm no longer picking up low pay orders lesson learned
So I feel you on this I took a $3 order it had no tip but it was going Less then a block from my first drop that was for $4 no tip but less then a mile my next 2 orders were for $25+, it will also happen after you go to restaurant & an order in cancelled as well. It’s guaranteed your next one is money if you can obviously accept it quick enough. I deadass had to get a bike cuz it wasn’t worth doing it in my car. But I do shop& pay orders too because they typically pay well &but during Ramadan I have someone order 16 gallons of water & 6 cases of Poland spring . If I was on a bike I would’ve had to cancel the order. & it’s was for $60+😅 so Uber. Also I’ve learned if you happen to be in a poverty stricken area you might not get a tip until you drop it off, & it’s typically cash. I need to get back grinding !
today i got SEVERAL requests to drive 8.2 miles for $3.32 (base fare + expected tip). that is 40 cents per mile. i don't even understand how that is possible to offer that. they are literally asking me to pay my own money to give someone their food. what?! r they my mother?!
When I was broke and unemployed for a few months during the middle of my college fall semester, I tried Uber eats delivery and accepted every order. I didn’t really care how much they paid. I just wanted to scrape up whatever I could make. It honestly wasn’t that bad for me. I live in NYC so I always had orders. Honestly it was a nice gig. I just listened to music in my car while doing the deliveries. I used my dad’s Honda odyssey so gas wasn’t an issue. Those minivans are so great with gas.
I have this problem in my area/market, 95% of the requests I get are terrible! Low pay & high miles! I’ve saved screen shots of the types of requests I get, if I could send them to you let me know! I try to stay at $ 2 per mile, but the requests I get are like $ 7.50 for 19/23 miles one way!!
You may need to multi-app or pick up a person or so in between, by looking at YT I found out how to go offline after each trip I Uber only, I'm adding UE today to see if I'm leaving any nearby 💰 on the table.
I’ve had my account since 2020 and never made past 40 a day bec of the tip baiting I just recently started back and I see things have gotten worse today I decided to go online and at least give it a shot but each order is less than $5 including tip so far or if I did get a $15 order the customer took the tip back as soon as I delivered the food.
Mathematically these numbers need to double because of inflation. Car maintenance and depreciation cannot be factored in so this whole business model is a death roll
Where can I search to find out where the limit/ cut off is when it comes to hidden tips?? Just an example, even if it’s a $25 tip the most they will show you is $11 I saw a video where a guy said he found that but I don’t remember the video🤦♂️
Problem with your analogy is that it NEVER works out like you're explaining it in some markets!!! You can literally go for 4hrs straight in some markets to even get a half decent order! All these drivers coming on up here on RU-vid with some "advice" are trying to do something good & probably helping a few drivers but most of you are not taking EVERYTHING into consideration! I wish how you're explaining it is how it works in the real world but nope! Only in very few markets overall is there such a nice love story buddy!!!
Hello ! Any suggestions how not to get scam by clients!? The delivery in hand is done (so no pictures) and then you get notifications delivery claim as not complete. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Is there a way to see the actual pay? Without the expected tip? I’ve taken orders that say $10 included expected tip and ends up being like 2 dollars. Why does this happen? I’m new
That's pretty much what the base pay has been. So I basically been depending on the tips. I just hit gold this past hour and I cherry pick like hell. $2-5 orders are instant decline. I have done a couple $5 ones that were right down the street from where I was posted but other than that, hell nah
It means you got tip baited. The costumer took the tip away after you dropped off. Make sure to record their name and address so you won't accept any future orders from them. You can also tell uber you don't want orders from that particular costumer.
@@solomongrundy1467 they could be looking at the payout before the tip was added. I made that mistake when I was new. I didn't know the tips take an hour to hit the account if the customer kept their word
That logic you're suggesting for an order thats 2 miles away you're fine with a $4 tip. I don't travel a mile for less then $5 then $2 for every mile after that would make more sense.
This sucks for people who Uber and not going that far because no one will come get them when they may have to really get somewhere. Why won't the drivers boycott until Uber pays better? That last order doesn't seem real, I've never had to pay that little when traveling that far even before COVID.
Hey so the ones he is showing are for deliveries. At the end of the day until something changes, the customer tip will determine how fast the food is going to get picked up. Ordering from Uber is a privilege not a right. Big tippers will always get their orders faster vs these bs $8.00 for 16 mile orders. If I could share pictures I’d have you gagging at the bs orders I have gotten before
@@kuroslife.1079 ^ she’s right! I’ve seen so much food get cold by sitting on shelves for a long time, desperately waiting for someone to pick them up (those orders are the orders that don’t have good tips on them.) orders with good tips get picked up immediately
You better let them know your also ubering in the city. You make more doing it in the city. Where there isn't any free parking. Lots of traffic. Tall buildings to go up. Did I mention no parking.
I thought these apps have a minimum order amount? I’ve never been able to buy food for under $15. A $9 order is insane. And you know the tip is probably $1.
Just about to start Uber Eats, is the time on that round trip? I mean, I'm guessing it is because I don't know of a 4.5 mile one way that would take a half an hour to get to.
Ok so I just took an order for 6.01 but when I finished it it says I only earned 3.02. Why is that? Cause DoorDash would never! I’ll get all my $6.01 I’m so confused 😂
