When you receive your new Wells Fargo ATM card, you must activate it. First, open the Wells Fargo website in your browser. Next, in the login form, enter your username and password. Then click on the red Log On button. Wells Fargo bank wants you to verify yourself using a one-time 6-digit verification code. It can send the code as a text message to your mobile phone. When you receive the code, type it in and click the red “Continue” button. Then, on the dashboard of your Wells Fargo online account, find your everyday checking account. Click on the Everyday checking account. On the checking account page on the right side of the page, in the menu, find the “Activate Card” option.
Click on the option. On the “Activate your debit card” page, you must type the security code or CVV.
Then, you must type the PIN of your new debit card. You should receive the 4-digit PIN in a separate mail. Next, click on the red “Activate My Card” button. Then, you can see a confirmation message that your new card has been activated. That is how you can activate a Wells Fargo ATM card.
