I disagree with what was said about feeling sketchy because the card picture was in a penny sleeve. In order to get a good picture of the card where you can see corners or surface issues then you shouldnt have the picture taken inside a top loader. Top loaders can hide defects
You are 100% right bro.. I actually wish they'd just be careful and take pics of cards Raw when I buy a big one. There's ALWAYS something wrong with the card when I buy it LOL

I like your approach, I do similar. Contenders autos are grading really tough like most are 8s and 9s. Gem rate is very low on this set. Mosaic autos are doing much better on Gem rates for rookie QBs from 2021, al;though they are stickers so the price points are not going to be as high as Contenders on cards.
This is great information, i've been doing this exact thing with pokemon cards for years, and this is spot on, great and informative stuff here people!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you have to buy the cards Raw? Or should you buy them already graded? Trying to start doing this for the first time. Wanting to know how to do this for the first time. A video on that would be great too.
Can’t wait to learn more from you all I’ve been collecting since I was young but I have no idea about the card business you guys have been so helpful on my journey to learn more about my cards and how to sell them
@@BackyardBreaks HUGE FAN IN CANADA, was going to ask if you have some bases laying around for my son. He's getting into the hobby and would love to help out :)
Loving the tip videos. You guys have answered some questions that I have had but haven’t had anyone to ask. Love what you guys do keep up the hard work and keep the tip videos coming. LFG
Aren't ya'll the guys who hit the triple logo patch , that was an awesome pull fucking legend.I myself deal in graded cards but I've been making a lot here lately raiding the dollar card boxes at shows , buying a dollar card and selling it for 5 isn't a sexy sale. But I made 500 of these sales last month .Sexy or not the money adds up the same lmao
yo, i really appreciate the video guys, i never thought to search for x sport auto, thats a dope ass lil trick, i like your style, yall just got another like on the video and subscriber PS hey nicky, your sister called, she wants her shirt back haha just playin mane, much love
I have them out of the penny sleeves for the picture because of the bad glare take them out and put them straight back in a sleeve In a top loaded/one touch
Honestly being new to the hobby and the community there guys are incredibly knowledgeable about the craft. They will go out of you way to help you learn and grow in the hobby. These dudes are the best in the game and deserve your support!!! Keep up the great work boys!!!
Wow, its crazy how these cards legit arent even HALF the price of what was paid for them back in April, even after TLaws marketing skyrocketed at the end of the season. Just hope this is the "bottom", enough is enough!
This is terrible. Especially watching this 2 yrs later. Dude looked like he didn’t even really understand eBay and reading charts. And glazing Trevor Lawrence hindsight is hilarious. But that’s what happens when you get scouting information from a kid and a dude with a half shirt and funny hat.
I’m in my late 50’s and started collecting cards just over a year ago. Your vid’s have not only been fun to watch, but extremely helpful as to what I want to invest in and flip. I do have a question… you both say not to buy grade : 8. Does that apply for vintage as well or just modern?
I'll chime in for ya Bob; vintage is an ENTIRE different ballgame. You're dealing mostly with grades of 3s 4s & 5s, so your PSA 6-8s are worth a LOT assuming we're talking about the HOFs / big names. And it does depend on what years you consider vintage; up to like 1970 is a good cutoff line IMO. Just as an example, a '68 Willie Mays PSA 7 does around $400 but go back just to '62 and his Topps PSA 7 is over $3,000. Vintage is a LOTTA fun, I hope this helps!
would've watched the premiere but i was laying my grass, would've liked it more if Grant had a crop top as well but other than that, love you guys and loved the video!
Yeah you have to know they are going to playoffs which is a huge gamble. So when they have a bad season you just lost a bunch of money and either sell for a loss or have to hang on to it and hope next season is better
