Jeans with tint, exposed seams, ripped, crossover button and 90s have been my favs. I am realizing I just love denim in general with this considered a big trend. I prefer more of a cotton, structured fit which does not bode well with having a pouch. I avoided jeans for years because of that, but I’m trying to dip back into it. The fold over trend has helped for pants I love on my leg but won’t button on the pouch after I’ve eaten 😂 I’ve never tried barrell jeans, but I’m eyeing some on free people(I know you mentioned and it’s new to me as well) that I wanna try. Akira is also a nice place for interesting denim that you won’t see on everyone, but can also be timeless.
All solid choices! ASOS has this gorgeous tan pair that sold out so I'm patiently waiting until I find another. Look that 100% cotton struggle is so REAL because I feel you cos I HATE when the waist band presses too much into my belly. I instantly return pants like that cos I refuse to deal with that! Akira does have some surprising gems from time to time, I feel like I have to dig around in there almost like a thrift store which I don't like that sometimes. Let me know if you find a pair of barrel jeans you like cos I haven't found one yet 😅
I bought some wide leg jeans from Zara last fall. I reallt liked them and bought them on impulse. Yes, they are comfy. Howver, they make me look so frumpy almost every time i wear them. 😭😭😭 The shoe choice with them is also a huge struggle. I might give then away soon because i just can't get them to look right. 🤦♀️
