I have seen many videos like this but no one explains how you are supposed to breathe without the very back of the tongue popping off the roof, as it blocks the airway.
@@SweetenedCondensedMilk is your posture upright? If so just put it as far back as you can while still being able to nose breath With practice and time you should progress Just my non professional opinion
Didn't know I've been doing it since I was a kid, your throat kinda adapts to it and it enlarges so you can breath even with the tongue blocking the airway
It’s literally less than a 15 second vid and explained super easy to understand and in the simplest form, literally every other video failed to do that and makes it probably 20 minute long for nothing 💀☠️
Each day begins with a ritual that is as essential to me as breathing-mewing. Before the dawn breaks, I engage in this practice, pressing my tongue firmly against the roof of my mouth. This isn't merely a habit; it's a devotion, a silent ode to the potential of human anatomy. As I hold my posture, feeling the subtle engagement of muscles less spoken of, I sense a profound connection to my body. This technique has not just sculpted my jawline but has also instilled a deep sense of discipline and mindfulness in my daily life. Mewing has become my meditative solace, my pathway to self-improvement and confidence that radiates from within.
Because mewing is a myth, a bone can't be enlarged. The least you can do is doing cardio so you can lose weight, that affects your cheeks and gets better. These videos with "perfect jawlines" cano nly mean two things: 1 genetics or procedures.
No bro trust me, i had bruxism my whole life, grinding down my teeth every night. The grinding stopped, as soon as i was able to constantly have the right tongue posture (mewing). I had to massage my jaw muscles everyday because of the nightly grinding so my face/jaw would not hurt that much. I didnt need to do that anymore after i stopped grinding due to mewing. You dont even have to do it at night, its enough if you do it whilst awake. i know that because i neved managed to mew at night, it would always collapse. I dont know exactly how it works, i think the tongue on the palate sends some kind of "signal" to the Body, so the teeth wont grind at night. I know that sounds dumb as f but thats how i fixed it, and we humans are all pretty similar. Keeping the teeth SLIGHTLY together wont also do any harm. In fact, its better for you jaw joints, because if the teeth has its resting position in a bite, the tmj (the joint) will adapt, so the joint is "programmed" to be in balance, when your teeth is closed. So when youre chewing, especially if you chew something hard, your Joints will be in balance, because if you chew, the highest pressure is (logically) when you bite on the food (so in that moment, your teeth is togehter). If thats not the case and your joint is out of balance, especially under high pressure whilst chewing something hard, you could get some tmj problems and things like joint clicking. I had that Problem my whole life and fixxed it due to Keeping my teeth together all the time at the day (and my tongue on the palate of course). I took only like a week after i started with the right teeth posture and i had no more jaw clicking while i opened my mouth. It adapts pretty fast
You should also strenghten your jaw muscles and your tongue, the muscle itself, so you have it easier to keep the right tongue and teeth posture (especially at the time, when you not actively think about it). For your jaw muscles use extra hard chewing gum, the hard gums from jawliner are good. But use the real chewing gums, not the plastic tabs, they fuck up your joints. The plastic tabs in beginner advanced and expert are very good for training your tongue. Start with the easiest one (beginner) . Lay the plastic tab on your tongue, pretty much in the mittle. Then press the tab with pressure against the palate. Keep this constant pressure as long as you can, so its a challenge for your tongue muscle. I always breathe every 10 seconds, because breathing and pressing at the same time is not easy. I would recommend to chew 6 jawliner chewing gums for 30 mins on the right side, then, an hour later, 6 chewing gums for 30 mins on the left side. If youre right muscle is stronger, start with the left side or do more for the weaker side. Do this for 2 days in a row, at example monday and tuesday. For your tongue, keep the pressure as long as you can with the tab as i explained. Do this for 4 sets (or more) until failure with 2 to 3 mins rest between each set, like you do bench press or lat pulldowns in the gym lol. Do the tongue excercise every 3 days, so in this example on wednesdy. Thursday and friday then jaw muscle with chewing gum again, and saturday tongue training with the plastic pad again. If 6 chewing gums are too hard or too expensive, you can go with less of course. I personally wouldnt recommend taking more than 6, because it put too much stress on my joint, but you can try for yourself.
Hey, I think he’s talking about when you’ve achieved the suction position, how do you properly gather the saliva that is accumulating and then return to the position via swallowing
@@JawHacks yeah, how do I swallow once my tongue is in the correct position? Do I suck intensely on the palette to the point where my tongue caves and then I lower it and push swallow? Or just lower the tip of the tongue and suck? It all confuses me
💯. Facial posture is something I notice from young, the difference between looking vacant and engaged. Looking vacant with a clenched jaw doesn’t do much.
Dr Emovon your commitment to helping people with bad breath and acid reflux) is truly remarkable. Thank you for spreading awareness about alternative solutions and providing hope to those who have bad breath and acid reflux. thank you Dr Emovon on RU-vid channel..🥰🥰
I have a good jawline and trust me, you don't have to do that exactly where all your tounge surface touches the roof of your mouth. I just happen to put my tongue at the top incidentally because I have the habit of always breathing thru my nose, and everything follows. I just discovered recently that what I'm doing is what they called mewing
Mewing is a technique that some people claim can improve the aesthetic of the jawline. Mewing involves placing the tongue against the roof of the mouth while closing the lips and setting the teeth together. The supposed benefits of mewing include a well-defined jawline and improved alignment of the chin and nose
You forgot to add that proper neck and back posture is essential to mewing. When they are bad not only will you have a difficult time getting good tongue posture, but you also will not see results.
@@danielroman1484 To have good back posture, you must stand straight and stand tall. Shoulders parallel with hips. Shoulders are the key to good posture. Keep them back and down, however don't force it. They should naturally sit that way. Good neck posture is much easier to achieve when you have good back posture. You need your head to be facing forward and in line with your body. Your neck shouldn't be bent in any way.
Please explain how the back end of the tongue which only comes up when you swallow is supposed to stay up once you start breathing. It blocks the airway and naturally pops off once you stop holding your breath.
Hate to be that one idiot but... "Mewing" Does absolutely nothing to your jawline as proved by the American Association of Orthodontists, And Google also states that, "Mewing has generated significant social media buzz lately. However, there's no current research that suggests the technique provides any benefit to your jawline or oral health." Hope that helps!
I have this but it's a good thing when mewing, that means you can consistently work your tongue so it gets even stronger which means even better jaw results💯 look up how to swallow while mewing
ever since puberty i’ve been trying to make myself look better by sucking in my cheeks slightly and i accidentally started mewing and after a few years i realized what it was and never knew it was a real thing but i just had good tongue posture and i naturally do it anytime my mouth is closed but i can’t actively mew i guess because i naturally mew and it can’t get better?
Dear Ron. I have a very poor cervicomental angle despite being at a healthy weight. I believe it is caused by poor tongue posture, low hyoid position, poor neck, head and spine posture, and weak platysma muscles. Do you think myofunctional therapy would be able to correct this? I'd like to get rid of it without cosmetic surgery. All the best
