I've been in IT for 30 years, I've seen countless tutorials and walkthroughs but this is next level. I will literally copy your style of video, asset presentation, Notion page layout. Absolute perfection!
Works as advertised. Thank you! I have the same question as MD Hossain - how to control placement of the translate widget, for example to place it at top left in the header? Just moving the code from footer to header won't do that. Thanks!
This is a great tool. Thank you Squarestylist! The only thing I can't figure out is how to style the fly-out menu. In the video, it looks great with the grey background and black text. On my install, it's small blue text on a white background. Does anyone know how to style this area with CSS?
Thank you so much, this was extremely helpful! I do have one question though, is there a way to shrink the veritcle size of the language box? I only need to have like 2 language options, but the height of the drop down menu is large and mostly empty.
Good morning and thank you for this :-) Changing the colors/font in Custom CSS doesn't seem to work for me, any ideas? The down icon is grey even though it's set to red!
Thank you! It worked on my main website page. But it did not apply the translator to my blog pages within my website. Do I need to repeat the process for those pages?
Thank you so much! This works as promised but whenever I use the language switcher a horrible-looking google translate bar appears in the header, with a button to 'show original text' and another to deactivate the translation. Has anyone encountered this problem? Thanks!
This code is excellent - one problem: when added to our squarespace website it de-activates the main navigation in Mobile (so when you view the website on an iPhone you can click on the main navigation "hamburger" and that will open, but the options that are in our main navigation are then unresponsive when you try to click on them). Do you know a fix for this?
Hello Thanks for that its was helpful for me and i really appreciate it . may you help to fix a small issue if you dont mind i want drawdown select show all time with english to all user, its show to me with arabic language because im visiting website from arab country ? Thanks again
Hi, thank you for this! I was wondering since it is translated by google translate, they sometimes have an incorrect/ not suitable translation, am I able to somehow manually fix some translations?
Oh unfortunately, we can only suggest change to Google translate but that does not guarantee edit of the translations. If you need more control on the translations, I recommend checking out Weglot. Another option is this method : www.bradgood.net/articles/multi-language-content-on-any-squarespace-template
