LeJulian - Thank you for sharing the Error Message. You are facing the issue because you have not unchecked (unticked) the box User must change password at next logon while adding a new RDP user. Please uncheck it and tick the box Password never expires.
By default, Microsoft allows two users to login into the Windows Server simultaneously. You can create any number of RDP users in the Windows Server but at a time you can login into it with two users only. If you want to login into it with more than two users at the same time then you need to purchase a CALs license. CALs license is used to access the Windows Server with more than two users. Windows Server license is an OS license.
AG Aimer, generally, this error occurs when the user enters the wrong credential to login into the VPS. Here, we recommend you to double-check the login details which you are entering. If you copy the password from the local system then make sure that you have not selected any blank space. You can reset the password of the RDP user by login into your Windows VPS with an administrator user.
Santosh Kumar Azad, Thank you for watching our video. There is no limit to adding RDP users in the Windows Server but at a time you can log in with two users. If you wish to log in with more users (more than 2 hours at a time) then you should go with a CALs license.
Senkottuvelan, you can use the mentioned steps in the video to add a new user in your Windows OS [Windows 10). The steps are the same for both OS Windows Desktop OS [Windows 10] and Windows Server OS [Windows Server 2012 or 2016]. For your information, in windows 10, you can login into your system with one user at a time.
