How to animate your vtuber 3d model to do animations when you make certain expressions. This is a quick simple tutorial i made for a friend, but if y'all want more 3D vtuber tutorials like this let me know in the comments! You can also make hotkey toggle animations by making a blank blendshape clip and using that instead of one of your main expressions. (This tutorial is assuming you already know how to setup a vrm model in unity using springbones and used the VSF SDK for vsfavatar format)

my tail is stiff and wont, like, wiggle right? and when im in the "scene" tab the animation just doesnt play. i beg of you please help me.

I did follow your video but I can't change my rotation. I only can change position or scale only. how can I fix it? plz help me

same i coundt move the rotation ; v ; it just doesn't want to move

You cannot have VRM physics on the bones you are animating. For example, for ears, make sure you are only animating the root bone and have physics affect on the non-root bones. Hope this helps!

HI! I tried to do something similiar but with a scythe I made in blender, I made an animation that should play only when the blendshape get triggered. but whenever i try to press the play button it starts automatically, same on VSF. when I use the blendshape it just restart the animation

It could be 2 things. Goto Inspector -> VSF _Animations -> inside serialized , check if the blendshape is actually on blinking or whatever other trigger. If the trigger is neutral, it will always happen because your avatar is always in neutral. Second possibility is. Goto Inspector -> Animator, and check the controller. (make sure the controller is not on lock otherwise it won't show the right controller) (you can check that by right clicking the (animator) (game,scene are tabs next to it) , you might accidentally added the animation to the entry, which means it will always play when it starts. I can't think of anything else that would trigger it otherwise.
