Thanks a lot, did it on my 2nd gen HP Chromebook 11 as it's running a bit slow nowadays.

i think i missed a step? i first did ‘swap enable 2000’ then turned my computer off and on again. when i restarted my computer, i went back into terminal and there were no text lines at all, a clean slate. so i tried again, doing ‘swap enable 2000’ then ‘swap status’ then shutting my computer off and back on. i looked in the terminal again, but still no text. i decided to try and play my game, but i feel the performance wasn’t any better. i’m not sure what the issue is. mind you, im not tech savvy AT ALL, so if anyone could explain this to me like im 5 years old, that would be great

Fizz how do you set up 4GB? I have tried doing 4GB and it says it can't do it because the values have to be betwee 100-2000 (so 2GB)

I have an Asus cx1101. The specs says 4gb of RAM - up to 8gb. What it does it mean by ‘up to 8gb’? Would this command you’ve shown work on my Chromebook, if I entered ‘swap enable 8000’?

im testing with this right now so i can get a performance boost in roblox but when i set it over 2GB( its at 3GB) my CPU went to 70C which google says 70C is just like hot tap water and should take 10 minutes to burn of a childs skin so im getting pretty scared but im gonna keep going up to see the performance i can get on a chromebook 😭 you can check your available ram and cpu heat by click on the search button and searching diagnostic edit: its a 4GB im still alive and its only at 47C because im not having roblox open and i only have chrome with this tab and the crosh tab open
