Hi Darin, Thank you very much! after a lot of searching came across your video and looking for a solution exactly for this issue. Your explanation is awesome, thank you once again!
Hi Darin, after doing so. in the terminal i have no issue cloning the project to my local machine. But however in Jenkins, i recevied an error that reads Verifying host key using known hosts file You're using 'Known hosts file' strategy to verify ssh host keys, but your known_hosts file does not exist, please go to 'Manage Jenkins' -> 'Configure Global Security' -> 'Git Host Key Verification Configuration' and configure host key verification. I have checked the security configuration of host key verification strategy which is set to known host file. and in my .ssh folder, it does have a known_host file in there. Anyone have the same issue as me with a solution to this?
Thank you for this video Darin very helpful, I replicated everything in this video and its seems that the SSH method is no longer working. Is there any update in git private repo via ssh? Thanks!
If the connection I want to do is for a GitLab repository, does it apply to use the same type of credentials for the token access? I mean, user and password?
HI, I have followed all your steps but it still says, failed to connect to repository : failed to setup credentials. I have tried it using both steps i.e using SSH keys and PAT but still doesn't work. Can someone please help?
