For those of you who are wondering about color just take a sharpie that's the color you want and that is a very light color,you can color over the light once you remove the film.
Looks awesome! I was a bit confused though because you said the textured side of the led towards your eyes but then you ended up putting the velcro on that same side so the smooth side ended up facing your eyes

Since the panels are most likely acrylic, they could be tinted using iDye Poly or abother synthetic fabric dye. I used the same technique on my Killing Joke Red Hood helmet to make it transparent red.
That one was made of smoothon 65d resin I think. I now use bjb enterprises tc-804 on my helmets. As far as vision is, it’s okay with the leds turned off. But with them on it’s pretty hard to see unless you’re in a brightly lit area
Just wondering if it's possible to do this on like a rubber cowl? I wanted to make a custom flash suit and cowl with LED eyes so I need to know if this would work on a cowl or not
I’ve seen people do mesh eyes on a rubber cowl. But leds is usually kind of hard due to the fact that cowls are very form fitting and don’t leave a lot of room for something like this. But i suppose anything is possible .

What if you make only the front shape if the helmet out of whatever material blue light glasses have and then slot it in so that the led lights don’t burn your eyes
Hello sir, i have a question regarding the led light, is it the kind of material that i can cut to reshape? What i mean is if i were to cut or reshape the eye part will it still light up or not, i have an idea for the led light but i need to change it's shape from a rectangle to an oval, thanks in advance
Animesh Guha Of Course! You’re holding two led panels right up to your face, you can try it, hold your phone up to your eyes at full brightness. That’s how it will feel

If you want to build it yourself you can purchase the led module from adafruit. But you have to solder and provide your own wires and battery pack. Or you can buy assembled kits off eBay. Just search led eyes for masks or something.
