actually this doesnt apply to everyone, theyre rolling it out to certain accounts and not others. I can do it on my private account but not my creator account which is a huge shame. instagram is literally the worst.

Once I created a post with more than 3 pictures it does not give me access to add music - that option doesn’t appear at all. It only appears when I use 1 photo to a “Post” I don’t want to create a reel. Just a post with 10 pictures or less with one song 🎶

On Android devices, the creator account has the ability to add music to multiple photos. But the iPhone does not have this feature...

what category did you put your account under? creator/ professional? As different types of account have different access to its function. Still trying to figure out which one can give access to multiple photos post but with song.

So for the people who are struggling to get the sound to work for the multiple pictures.. make sure none of ur pictures are Live Photos being played as videos because I had one picture as a video and the music effect didn’t work, but if you just put pictures it works for up to 10 photos. I hope I helped 😊

Another main problem is that it has to be a post with just pictures, videos can’t be added. So keep that in mind and it should work.

Put one photo in, pick your song, go back out press discard then pick the rest of your pics, and finish your post

I FOUND REAL FIX , BEFORE YOU GO TO THE FINAL PAGE PUT AIR PLANE mode on then click add music then turn it off and search your song even know it kinda disappears when u go back to post it it’ll be on the actual post

Select Story > Select > Select photos > Click music > Save > Arrow to next photo > Post. Hope this helps!

Switch your account type to creator, click account type pick professional then click video creator

that requires video editing, and you post the whole thing as a video. cannot automate that on the app

I do it by creating a reel with the pictures, then before posting it I download it and then discard the reel. Then I upload the reel to stories and select the music.

Hi Marga! Sometimes the music only plays for the first image if the timing isn’t set correctly. Make sure the music track is extended to cover the entire duration of your post. Have you tried adjusting the length of each photo to match the song?

Hi Elena! You can add music to a carousel post, but Instagram doesn’t currently offer a direct way to boost carousel posts with music. You might want to try boosting the post as a whole and check if the music remains in place. 😊

This video is useless. On a personal account, adding music is so obvious that there is no point in making an entire video about it. Cap. But try adding music to multiple photos on a Creator account!
