I cannot even begin to explain how much I love what you did with this piece! Absolutely amazing! Pure talent I can definitely say! I love this so much 💓 thank you so very much for sharing! (New subbie ☺)
I simply adore this piece and I'm so glad you let the artwork speak and evolve itself. Your channel is 'Creationsceecee' not 'Doodle with Ceecee' and your creations are always magical and inspirational, doodling or otherwise. And Yes please to a video on pencils 🥰🥰. Have a lovely week.
I shudder to think of the abusive/negative comments you must have endured previously to have apologised so much in your voice over 😞 Such a beautiful artwork
Yes! That’s what I was thinking while listening.... made me sad when I get sooo much out of watching and listening to you Ceecee - whatever kind of art you are doing.
I feel sorry for those people who downvote such lovely content or have the hubris to leave negative comments, for they are stuck living with their miserable selves...
Know that I’m always interested in seeing whatever art your intuition tells you to create. It doesn’t have to be for ‘everyone’ nor does it have to be doodling. I’m following you to see where your creativity takes you, not for easy projects. Keep doing what you love!
Ceecee! This is so gorgeous and creative, I'm gonna have to try it out for sure. I love your videos and as a fellow addict to accenting everything in gold or at least one metallic colour, I'm proud of your restraint in holding back the gold on this piece. I like seeing variety in your work and I don't think you should have to apologize at all! You are providing us with inspiration and beauty for free and I can't understand how people could be complaining. People seriously need to grow up...
My Granddaughter would be thrilled with the pencil art. I recently gave her a large set of good pencils. I gave her paints etc too. I have the same micro pens. I took up pen and ink in my 20s, acrylic painting in my 30’s, then a mixture of the too and now I am into watercolor, and multimedia. I also cut out wooden Christmas ornaments when my energy is up. I’m in my early 70s now and work on something every day. I sometimes refinish antique furniture when it’s warm enough in the garage. Keeping busy keeps the pain levels down. Enjoy your life! ❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇨🇦
Ceecee I wish you hadn't felt the need to apologize for this piece of art. It is absolutely stunning! You could say you doodled with the Saran wrap if you really must. I loved seeing it evolve. I am here for the art work - not the doodles only. Such a different piece and really awesome.
This is gorgeous. I like the yellow. I like how the background made a diamond shape. I like the shading. I like the little highlights. I'm a silver fan so I don't miss the gold lol. I'm not here for doodles, I'm here for whatever you want to show us. I like seeing your process of deciding how to handle whatever the paint decides to do. I like seeing different approaches to things. I like seeing artists try new things. Yep, no complaints here. I understand wanting or needing to stick to "a brand" or what the majority of subscribers like but I really love artists that are just their authentic selves and not like super curating their content. So thank you for showing us your different stuff, your oopses, etc.
Your art style, and what you convey, is to “just go with it” being free and easy and relaxed. This may not have been a doodle, but the feeling was the same, you did what the piece was calling out for, so don’t worry, it was beautiful, and not technical at all. 🤗🇬🇧
I have been inspired by your art for years, CeeCee, and you always manage to surprise and inspire me. Thank you for all you do for aspiring watercolorists like me.
Ceecee I never would have thought to introduce pencil crayons with watercolour. I’m new to the painting world and appreciate you taking the time to make these videos. Bravo!
I'm here for watercolor, doodling and ANYTHING you care to show us. I think the pencil shading and definition is fascinating and inspiring. Would love to see more of it here on your channel. Plus, this is a beautiful piece; I love seeing it go from the stage of watercolor only, through definition with pencils to final piece - such a transformation. Thanks
This piece is glorious! The most important lesson, for me, was to listen and follow where the piece wants to go. I don’t think you would have been so happy with the outcome had you made it into a doodle. I would very much like to hear your approach to adding colored pencil to your pieces. I have some metallic watercolors and think I will use the plastic wrap method using those and some black paper. Thank you for sharing this.
This video might be 3yrs old, but I'm only seeing it now, and wow! This is simply stunning creativity. I've also seen some of your doodle work that I love, but this tops the lot so far in my opinion. What you started with and then what you ended up with are 2 totally different pieces. Just amazing. Don't apologise for anything you do, I could watch you do this all day. Thank you ❤
We would love to see more videos on shading techniques and colour pencil projects... Plastic wrap technique is quite interesting to work with... Waiting to learn more new things from u Ceecee... We luv u soo much...
I love this so much! I’m very new to watercolor and love using colored pencils, so combining both is perfection in my opinion. Whatever you post, I will watch. I imagine most of your subscribers feel the same. Thank you, CeeCee.
OMG that is so beautiful! I adore this, never tried adding pencil on top of the plastic wrap watercolors. I'm so delighted to have see this, thanks so much.
I love what you did with this painting. The LOOSENESS appeals to me very much. Then adding some representational work to it make it just LOVELY. WELL DONE, CC!
Love what you have done with pencils. Have done several Saran Wrap backgrounds and have loved them. Will have to play with pencils.thank you as always ceecee
Wow! So amazing how the watercolor started out looking kind of like red dandelions, then turned into tulips and roses once you removed the plastic wrap. Such an exciting technique.
Lovely! You might try using “regular” cling wrap, rather than the Cling Plus with adhesive, and you might consider random pin pricks in the surface, before installing it, for perhaps a different effect, with a slightly quicker drying time. Also, consider cutting small and large bubble wrap bubbles in single or multi bunches, laying those down just prior to the cling wrap. Even deflated, they might be interesting. That might offer some rounder, more “doodle” compatible sections in the surface. You give the true meaning of Go With the Flow! Many thanks for inspiring and relaxing videos.
Stunning result😍😍😍. CC, don't over think things too much ( what people will think, what people are expecting blah, blah, blah) you are going to make yourself sick... It is your piece of art, you create it the way it feels right to you. There is no right or wrong, as you know art is a very subjective thing. I love your water colour painting, it is light, weightless like a feather and I need that to calm my head, I find it soothing. I look forward to your next piece😊♥️. Have a beautiful day CC🌺
This piece is absolutely amazing!! I love the mosaic look. I'm glad you took the journey and showed us new ideas. Yes please show us more use of colored pencils.
I really, really love this creation, love the cling film effects and love the coloured pencils too. Thanks for making this video CeeCee 💕 aroha (love) from New Zealand.
I’ve done quite a lot of coloured pencil work, but I would love to see you using more of it! I’m just starting out with watercolours and I want to learn to combine the two. Oh, and I too am addicted to gold (and anything shiny in general) 😊
This is one of your most beautiful pieces. Spirit is pushing you to grow and to not worry so much about what others think. Keep allowing that flow to happen. Thank you for sharing your journey as you learn to shine more of your light through your creativity.
Have you ever tried using a color’s compliment for the dark shadows instead of black? What you have done is very striking, but a deep green would be a bit more natural. (Not better, just different. :) )
J'adore le mélange des media en particulier aquarelle + crayons de couleurs, pastels à la cire ou aquarellable, etc. Merci pour vos vidéos très inspirantes pour moi...
Love what you have done . Love mixing up my watercolor too with color pencils or Derwent Inktense pencils. I have used saran wrap method too I like to use like Magense Blue let dry and then a very dark blue on top and then do the saran on top and let dry and that gives my painting interesting background. Love your painting! :)
Cece, a lovely piece. I think it would be good to hear your thoughts on using the pencils. I actually like the yellow. It added a glow to the piece. You did a great job. To doodle or not?? You have to listen to the "art". Thank you for sharing.
I have experimented with various types of plastic wrap, and the Cheapest brands you can get is the best for moving around once you place on paper to make more shapes. I also crinkle it in a ball first, and then open before laying done, too. Love your technique to wet both sides to keep it FLAT, most helpful, because if paper rolls when wet, you lose the effect you desired.
Lovely, and you did doodle ...with dots. Yes to more colored pencils. When my art talks to me, I’d like to have the right tools to respond. The more tools I have, the better. You can always shake things up. It shows your true artistry.
Absolutely lovely.. don’t worry that I will only follow your videos of they are doodles. I thrive on seeing development in creativity and helps me to learn techniques I can start a new adventure with. Thank you .
New person here but I wanted to respond to something you said. I hope you read comments on older videos. My interpretation of your channel is yes approachable art but also more free form and taking things where they want to go and having fun with the art. This is what I see in your videos. So you have nothing to apologize for to me about doing what you wanted and enjoyed doing to make this piece.
Fabulous even w/o the gold (some spatters of gold would be nice). I love how this turned out and your willingness to try newish things. I love your style and the results you get, oh my, beautiful!!! Keep sharing, would love to see a colored pencil shading how to.
Oh goodness, this is a beautiful piece of art. Please don't ever apologize for where your intuition and heart takes you. You will never make everyone happy, so just do what makes you happy. Think of it as expanding other's horizons and offering a challenge to work outside your normal comfort zone. You do you. Love you and your work. You are ALWAYS inspirational.
You don’t have to feel the pressure of doodling for us, just do what YOU love and we will love it! Your passion and the joy of being able to follow your experiments and development is what makes your channel special. Love from one of your patreons.
always enjoy your work.... it takes me into new areas of my own artwork! i think you should share whatever you can on your channel.. you never know where someone might be headed in their learning and experimenting and every technique that is shared is one that a person can learn from! thanks for the videos!
I love this piece. And please, though we appreciate your attention to our preferences, just go with the flow! And it only serves to present us with new techniques and styles, as well as to share the struggles that come with art making. This truly is a pretty painting and I for one am interested in working more with colored pencil so this was great for me. Keep it up Cee Cee you are amazing.
I love that you did something other than a doodle. Don't let the success and popularity of that style lock you into just one thing, I think in the end it won't be for the best for you OR for the channel. I love the doodles, but you never know what will inspire or push a person to new ideas and new methods. And that's what I want to see always!
I love this flower! Please please, show us thicks to improve watercolor with plastic wrap. How we can work with flower shape once we put the palstic wrap on the wet paper.
I'm just starting painting and crafting again. I'm 75 and so appreciate the calm details you share with us. And isn't this what an artist does, going with their instinct on what the project needs. I appreciate learning from you
Love the pencil work. It’s similar to doodling for me because it’s practicing seeing things in the piece and learning how to enhance or embellish. It’s great to listen to your thought process. I learn so much each time I watch. I wouldn’t mind a bit more technical content but I’m such a newbie, just watching you put water on paper is useful😂
I’m always so inspired by you in any form! Thank you for reminding us that you can always add to your watercolor paintings! I often forget about other forms of media you can add in to create such beautiful pieces.
Oh, I love this. I love making watercolor textures with the saran wrap. But I have never used it this way with colored pencils. I will definitely try this combination. 😍
