Thank you for this video! It helped me make up the decision to go with PCIe solution. :) I wouldn't have thought that there is such huge difference between USB and PCIe option, and I've been using USB dongles for years, both for WiFi and Bluetooth, being not so happy with such solution. I've ordered a new PCIe card and I can't wait to see how it will work. :)

For measuring speeds would be awesome to use such tool as iperf3. Also, I do believe you compared PCIE WiFi 6 vs USB WiFi 5? If yes, it could potentially explain why speeds on USB was so much lower. Though I still believe that PCIE card should be better in any case. Thanks for the video!

PCIe bus is much faster then USB

In using the internet, they are the same. Pcie is more expensive, morw difficult to install, and effect m.2 and ssd in some cases. While usb wifi is more stable in blutooth connection, cheaper, easy to install and remove, less cables. I used two types of pcie and the usb adaptor, with I had problems in blutooth connection like if you connect more than 1 controller. Moreover, usb adaptor gives higher download speed, same everything internet, time, location, anttena, download server adaptor is always faster

Thanks for the help, for some reason, on my b550 d3sh (not AC version) does not recognize the Bluetooth dongles I used, I tried with 3 different ones, so im going to buy that motherboard extension with antenas, maybe it finally comes to work for some reason

After installing a similar wifi card, in a similar position. Then updating the wifi card drivers - now the ventilators sound really loud. Always running on max. Cant be adjysted manually to run slower. Heat is ok, but the ventilators that loud is annoying. What to do?

are the connections on the motherboard for the usb cable pretty much standard because I can't find it on my hp motherboard

Yes they are standard but unfortunately, when you buy a PC from a manufacturer such as Dell or HP, they make proprietary motherboards and they remove all connections not used in the original build. I had this problem with my Dell Inspiron, so at the end of the day, I built my own PC. You can see how I built it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iyIRtq3N29U.html . Now if you want to use the PCIe card without USB power, it will still work as a WIFI card. In this case, you can get a cheap USB Bluetooth dongle.

What is this? Wireless connection can only be as fast as Your wifi router allows it (ir is capable of) and it's NEVER the same as etherhet wired connection!!!! You can only compare different wifi devices and even here be careful - is it the device itself or is it the placement of antennas! Thumbs DOWN!
