@@kennyroberson6216 same thing just moved in to a house to find these. I figured to pull on em but when i pulled a bit hard it came down and got me right in the dang face. Figured id look it up to feel like an idiot lol
Cordless blinds,…. Many times you have to make sure the slats are in the horizontal position, in other words fully open. This allows them to be raised or lowered. It’s never in the instructions.
Worst idea of a blind ever. Lift up, goes nowhere. Let down, at the same spot as before. Never retracts, no matter how many times you lift to the top. Please save your money and look elsewhere.
They're installed in an apt I recently rented. I noticed there was no cord to raise them. I accidentally raised them but could not lower them😕 Then, behold the internet! As long as I can bring them down I'm happy 😊😊😊
I think this is how you do it. Gently raise the blind evenly all the way to the top (as shown on the video). Then, hold the edge at the bottom and gently start pulling down slowly and evenly. Trust the force. 😄
I hate these things. I’m afraid to roll them up for fear I won’t be able to get them down. Right now I’m just dealing with a half foot needing to be down. Worst damn invention ever 🤬🤬🤬🤯🤯🤯.
I was stuck for a long time! The key is to not be surprised to use stronger force when pulling downwards. It’s very light to pull up. Do not be as gentle to pull down!make sure to always keep both ends even for either direction ⬆️⬇️
OMG 😳 that’s how you do it? I’d been stressing the blinds in my new apartment coz there’s no string to pull it down! Had to cover the whole window with blanket lol😂😂😂 I called the leasing office and they’re close at 5 pm. Glad I RU-vid and found your video! Thank you so much 😂😂
This wasn't as helpful as I'd hoped. What's causing them to raise and lower? It can't just be putting your hands on the blinds. Is there an adjustable lever on the back or something? I'm confused
Mine was 2 inches from being all the way down...i pull...a little ..tugged a little... Now i finally got them all the way down.. WHO KNEW....IT WAS SO ANNOYING THANKS FOR THE VID....
Thanks for posting this video lol. As soon as I saw you push them up I instantly remembered how simple it was to do it .. And it was a quick fix for my boyfriend and I lol
This video unfogged my glasses because before I watched this I have been struggling/sweating until I thought I was fixing to have to call my apartments to come fix when there is a such thing as cordless blinds.... Smh Praise God!
YOU SAVE MY LIFE OK SO IM IN MY SISTERS ROOM AND I MOVED THE BLINDS UP AND THOUGHT IF I PULL IT DOWN THE WHOLE THING WOULD FALL. IF IT Wasn't DOWN BEFORE SHE CAME HOME SHE'LL BE MAD:THANK YOU☠️
Any style like this the blinds MUST be totally horizontal to give you a chance at functioning. but geez this invention is terrible, I've lifted the blinds out of bracket a half dozen times and now have to climb awkwardly on my bed to find center point. Regular blinds were kind of a useful thing.
Okay just tried doing this now their all the way to the top. These are my on my bedroom window. No privacy now. This video was no help. I tried doing what he demonstrated and now their all the way up. I just moved into the apartment. Wasn’t ready to meet the neighbors yet, but I’m going to have to ask somebody how to lower them. Can’t be in my bedroom with my stuck at the top.😟 Okay, I was scared to tug on them to hard for fear the whole blind would fall. But I tugged gently and they came down so easy and didn’t fall out the bracket. Thanks to this video and another I just watched. My front door blinds did fall out the bracket when I tugged on them. Guess I tugged to hard. Anyway I don’t have to worry about privacy in my bedroom, cause I’m going to go take a shower now. Thanks for posting this video. Why do we make easy things so hard. 😅
Thank you so much for this video............I was trying to lower them from a halfway up position and almost broke them I am sure, trying to get them down!! Many Thanks!!👍🏻
You Tube is such a life saver ! Just type the stupid question in and there’s the answer ! I was afraid to pull very hard , but it worked ! Had never pulled one up, but had to to kill a wasp that got in the house . 😬
My blinds are stuck in the raised position...18 inches off the base. Given the negative comments, I think that I will wait until the morning before I try raising them all the way up, so that I can try lowering them all the way back down. Enduring this conundrum, the last thing I need is a midnight hour peepin' tom.
Thank you... my apartment put in new blinds on a Friday. I did not notice until Friday night that they had no draw strings. lol.. had no idea blinds without draw strings was a thing. So here I am on a Saturday thinking they had not set them up correctly and no help until Monday.
This video was so helpful because e we don’t have the long string that it usually has and I’m like how hell do I get it to come down 😂🤦🏾♀️ that was so easy. I actually feel slow
I'm trying to convert my cordless mini blinds into Roman shades. I can't get the blind to stay open when I lay it down on my table. Does that make sense? I pulled it out, but it won't stay, it keeps retracting. I can't work on my project. Does anyone know how to keep it stretched out? Thanks in advance.
Lord I called my man to ask for help but i was already watching this video I told him never mind Mariak got me he said who tf is Mariak🤣I said youtube😊
