Skip to 1:49 if you need to know immediately lol Didn't find much info when i looked online so I figured I would make a video for anyone curious. Hope it helped.
On behalf of every driver coming at you at night, thank you so much and for doing this video as these newer cars and especially lifted pickups, these newer lights are BLINDING. I hope more drivers like yourself will do this adjustment to care about others being blinded..thanks again
SO MANY people need to see this. i’m only here for it because my WT edition work truck shines a tad too high because of what all is in the bed. thanks for the help!
Hey man.. funny cause I've always wondered why people flash their lights at me all the time. Then one day a guy stopped me and said my light were too high. I have 3" front & 1" rear motofab level kit and thought its cause the rear squat a little. Had no idea I could adjust the lights bro. Thanks for sharing.
Dudeeee thank you 😂 leveled my truck and have been avoiding to drive at night with my led headlights as much as possible because every other car flashes brights at me. Got a thought today that I could proabably adjust them and saw your video. This is so easy. Thanks man
I really need to do this. I was riding behind a guy on the interstate and he slows down to about 20mph. So I go around him and as soon as I get in front of him, he throws on his brights. I had to laugh because where I have a 2” leveling kit and my back window is 5%, he wasn’t really blinding me at all. Thanks for this video, I have the same truck as you except a double cab, loving it!
Thank you, for the tip I hunted everywhere on internet looking nothing was this clear. I have a 2 inch leveling kit on the front on 305s everyone has been flashing me
I was honestly told I can’t adjust them and I’ve been getting fingers and in bright light battles for months now. Probably close to getting shot a few times judging on how some people reacted 😂. I’m gonna check this out when I get home tonight and do what you did on my garage. Thanks dude!
really... i never even saw that little hole wtf. Ive had the truck for like a year w the same setup as yours getting blinded by people daily lol and i never wouldve thought it was that simple, i thought i had to adjust the whole headlight😂 im doing it right now, Thanks for the vid man love the trok👍🏽
Thanks for video man, I have a 16 Silverado with a 6 inch lift and everyone is either high beaming me or flicking me off lol. Just did mine ill see tomorrow if I still need to drop it more. Very helpful video and super easy. Thanks again
Man that is going to be such a help I have the opposite issue mine are pointed so low I'm looking for parrie dogs the highlights are where the headlights should be. Thanks so much for your video
I have the same truck with the same leveling kit. In addition to being flashed all the time the people I am driving behind flash their lights hoping I'll turn my high beams down when they're already down. That and at traffic lights and stuff I'm lighting the drivers face like a spotlight through their side mirrors so badly they stick their hands out and cover their mirror. 1.5 turns of a screw and I'm back to factory and not pissing people off
Just lifted my truck 8 inches and was blinding everyone on the drive home. Found ur video and hopefully there will be less angry drivers in my future now 😁
Fantastic. My stock 2016 High Country is blinding everybody. Low beams looks like airplane landing lights coming in and the highs are 60 feet up into the trees. Can't wait to try this out. Thanks !!!
Right on... Thank you. I just did a level/lift on my 17 high country and I am getting blinded left and right....well, obviously I'm blinding others as well, so this was a major help. Thank you
Thanks for the vid bro very helpful jus bought my truck and the left head light was pointing up in the trees I thought it was the bulb inside was loose but this fixed it
Thank you. So crazy how simple it is. Just recently bought my first new truck (2018 Chevy Silverado LT), and they installed a two inch level on the front end to level it out. Of course they didn’t level out the headlights. Didn’t know until driving it at night, with others bright lighting me.
Also...its so easy it can be done seasonally. Winter i have snow machine in the back which changes the angles again! Fall...atv, summer, rv, can literally adjust on the fly now!!
This video should be mandatory for anyone driving a leveled or lifted truck. Let me first say that I really like your truck, but......to me, it looks funny with a reverse level now. This is where it is higher in the front than in the back. Do you plan on adding blocks, springs, or air bags? I tried them all and found the best combo is installing Monroe Load Leveling coil over shocks in the rear along with air bags. My truck is 1 inch higher in the back, but when I tow or haul, I can level the truck for better control. Nissan and Toyota trucks have a switch inside that allows you to adjust your headlights, wish Chevy would do the same.
The recommend you pull the vehicle 10 feet away from the wall, mark where it is and then aim them back to where your marks are. Perfect every time and “factory” set.
What kind of lightbulbs do you have as fogs? I think your fog lights are fine btw. Low enough that you aren’t bothering anyone with their current height.
lmfscrew I love those gahdamn lights Chevy put in the Silverado and Sierra. They’re so bright and cut through almost any weather! Anyway, good looking out! Beautiful truck man
I honestly hated how low the cutoff was on my '16 All Terrain when it was stock. I couldn't see shit sometimes simply because of how low it seemed to be. After I did my 33's and a 2" level I think it's where it should be.
adam stewart you can turn the dial to the left, and manually shut them off. after they’re completly off, even at night, click on the fogs button only and itll leave ur daytime running lights & fogs on👍🏽 without ur normal beams on, hope that makes sense bro
My God. I came here to find out how to adjust the headlights. Not hear your life's story. Stop telling us how insanely easy it is and start showing us.
this guy is a knob, your suppose to measure from ground to center of head lamp then go ten feet from door with truck measure same distance on door mark door , thats the correct adjustment and they get turned inward few inches ,,,,
Uhm..... all 2016+ silverados have hid/led headlights from the factory (earlier ones had hid, later ones have led unless it's the base model which still had hid). This truck has led or hid headlights already, that's why they are bright and a nice cool blue color.
