I've just recorded this from my tape deck. The 440Hz sound you can download from you tube. About recording make sure your tape deck is properly adjusted the speed must be accurate. You mean cassette tape? then you play reel tape?

In tape head there are 2 screws. To adjust the head try to adjust the screw with a spring. In adjusting this is trial and error method each small turn either counter or clockwise you need to stay focus in listening the sound if it is muddy then try the other side until sound is more clearer. Make sure the head is always clean before tweaking.

@@kevcodm23 I use singer oil and put it in a syringe just a single drop in the bearing.

Mostly not all cassette players has this speed adjust trimmers.

First thing you need to do is to check the trimmer it is always located near the motor circuit but some of them are in the back part of the motor or inside the motor.

​@@Woodys_Hobbies So we have to find it by luck. I really don't know what to buy. Direct drive, belt drive or boombox with FM/LW/MW, 3 head, double with 4 track synchro dubbing or single cassette deck, Full auto stop with all transport functions and now speed adjustment.

@@LANCEofIRAQ It's not luck it's in the circuit. It's in the inside part you cannot see this unless you open the unit.
