Just a quick video on how I adjusted the handbrake tension on the XR6. It’s a relatively easy job to do, probably takes more time getting the tools out and the car off the ground then it does to actually adjust.

my handbrake only works when im facing downhill but not uphill, would this help or should i adjust it at the shoes

Hard to say mate but doing this is definitely worth a try first. No need to take any wheels off or anything like that.
