In this video I show how I go about adjusting the reel to bedknife on a Scott Bonnar model 45 cylinder mower. I find this to be the easiest way which leaves a nice crisp cut.
Great vid mate, thanks for taking the time to share it! Any tips for somebody who has jammed their reel into the bedknife at full throttle? Made a big rookie error and went over edge of concrete and it pushed the bedknife into the reel... it's a protea 20"
@@SBRenos after close inspection, 1 of the blades on the reel is both bent and the weld is cracked. Taking it to a pro grinder this week to amend and adjust. Thanks for your reply!
G,day Jordan. You explained it well👍🏻. I follow a very similar procedure. Do you ever find when you tighten the nuts on the side.it alters the adjustment as well?
